  1. Correct!! :) Is it a marvel film?
  2. You're welcome Andy, glad we could help :)
  3. Correct Mark! :) Here's a new one. Again this featured in a Marvel film :)
  4. Told you it was easy lol 😂 Here's a new one. The clue is that the SQ7 featured in a marvel film
  5. Come on! Any guesses?? 😀 This should be one of the easy ones! 😉
  6. As the title says, it has come as a shock that the 3 times BTCC winner, Gordon Shedden has taken a contract to race for WRT in the World Touring Car Cup in an Audi RS3 saloon. This is the first time WRT has chosen to use an Audi in the championship and they will be getting support from the Audi's customer racing branch. However WRT are not the only team to run Audi vehicles for the 2018 season as Cometoyou have also chosen to do the same. I think you'll agree this should make the World Touring Car Cup an interesting championship to watch. Here's the links for more info: https://www.autosport.com/wtcr/news/134377/shedden-to-drive-audi-in-2018-wtcr-season https://www.touringcartimes.com/2018/02/15/jean-karl-vernay-and-gordon-shedden-lead-team-wrt-audi-assault-on-2018-wtcr/ Cheers Steve
  7. As the title says audi have now incorporated Amazon music into infotainment systems of Audi a3, a4, a4 allroad, a5, TT, Q5, Q7 and R8 built from 2017 onwards. This means owners can now stream songs through their infotainment systems via the MMI connect phone app. Here are the links for more info: https://www.automotiveworld.com/news-releases/audi-integrates-infotainment-services-amazon-music/ https://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-news/audi-introduces-amazon-music-services-on-all-2017-and-2018-models-ar178942.html Hope the info is useful :) Cheers Steve
  8. Thought I'd share this article on Audi's virtual cockpit. The virtual cockpit replaces the analog dials with a screen which show digital dials as well as being customisable. This means you can bring the Sat nav, music playlist or phone book right where the analog dials would be. Here's the link for more info from Auto week and car wow: http://autoweek.com/article/technology/should-you-get-virtual-cockpit-your-next-audi-or-volkswagen https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.carwow.co.uk/guides/glossary/what-is-audi-virtual-cockpit-0191.amp I've also found this YouTube video for more info: Pictures taken from Google images. Hope the info is useful :) Cheers Steve
  9. Well it sounds like your information is from a great source (being an Audi technician). If that's what he recommends then I'd do it. That's good of admiral! And the benefit of limiting the bhp to 250 is that you are putting less strain on the engine and gearbox :) Cheers Steve
  10. I agree with Gareth. Thule are a good make or try and get a second hand set of Audi official roofbars off ebay :)
  11. Hello all, I've seen this interesting article from car throttle that shows the serious water traps within the bodyshell/chassis of the Q7, vw Touareg and Porsche cayenne. It includes videos of the affected areas. https://www.carthrottle.com/post/watch-gallons-of-trapped-water-drain-out-of-early-vw-group-suvs/ Here are the videos: Hope it's useful Cheers :) Steve
  12. Fair point but the air filter is a cheap upgrade and any fuel with high octane will help performance :) Erm, I can't say I've seen any members complaining of issues on here with the valve but any experienced tuner should be able to tell you this :) Cheers Steve
  13. Good job we aren't connected to Audi 😉 I'm ok with it Piotr but I think we should wait to see what Trevor says on the matter :) I think anything that helps fellow members is a good thing :) Cheers Steve
  14. Hi Jim, sorry to hear of your issue. Did you manage to find a replacement diff in the end? Cheer Steve
  15. Here's some more :)
  16. Wow! What a saga!! I've left my engine standard for now. I'll put a stainless steel exhaust on it once the mild steel one is shot. And I should fit and uprated panel filter. Once the engine dies I'll fit a 1.8 130bhp zetec or 2.0 zetec :)
  17. You're welcome :) A major service and health check is very wise :) to help improve the car further, if you get induction kit/performance air filter and stainless steel exhaust and then get the car remapped then you should see even better results :) Cheers Steve
  18. Hi Howarth, sorry for the delayed reply. You should be able to connect your phone. Buy if you have a phone in the car then it might be easier to get a similar card for it. I'm unsure if you'd have to speak to Audi or a mobile phone provider about this though. Cheers Steve
  19. Welcome to the forum Shaz you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Celtic tuning I've heard of but never used them. You could also try Revo as I believe they do remap for vag cars. Never used them either though. Obviously before you get a remap done, make sure your car is in good health because if it's not then you can do more damage long term. Cheers Steve
