  1. Looks lovely :) Bet you're really pleased with it :)
  2. Is the engine getting hotter than it should be? If so i wonder if it requires a new thermostat. Or if there is some other fault with the cooling system. Sorry my suggestion was no good. There are various vents available. Obviously you've got the universal ones but you could consider vents from another car entirely. Or you.could add extra vents/holes where the number plate sits. Cheers Steve
  3. What's better for you?
  4. Welcome to the forum Andrew, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Bet you can't wait to collect your Q7! :) What spec and engine is it? Cheers Steve
  5. Hi Ryan, does it do it both in manual mode and auto modes, or just auto? Have you had a diagnostic check carried out at all? Cheers Steve
  6. Hi Karl, Vents are definitely an option but as you've highlighted, water ingress could be an issue. Plus the extra work involved in.curting the bonnet and measuring etc. One solution I've seen is bonnet spaces (also known as bonnet raisers). As you'll see in the pics it allows better cooling for the engine and obviously can be removed when you come to sell the car. You could also add extra ducting to the engine with plastic pipework. Similar to what you would get in an induction kit. If that makes sense. Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve
  7. Welcome to the forum Graeme, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) The best thing I'd recommend is replacing them with new items from Audi. Cheers Steve
  8. Hi Chris, the answer is unfortunately not. But if it's any consolation it's cheaper for us with older Audi's whereas owners with newer Audi's has to.pay alot more. Cheers Steve
  9. Hi Darren welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) you'llbe able to patch it up for your son to get home but it will need fixing. Unfortunately the egr and dog.filters not long can be removed as they are being included in.the MOT as of May this year. By.the way I've hidden your other thread as it was a duplicate. Cheers Steve
  10. Welcome to the forum Shez, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I thought the 8v had the pop.up screen as standard? My dad had an se version which had it. If you are upgrading to another Audi radio then the steering wheel controls etc will.work, but if you.go for an aftermarket radio then they most likely won't work. Cheers Steve
  11. Never played it Paul. Is that on PC?
  12. What model/year of Ford escort was that Sean? I have a 1993 mk5b 1.6 zetec. That's the beauty of Ford's, you can just fix them yourself 😀
  13. Good point, but bizarrely I've not experienced it too much. Just lucky I guess. So of the kill streaks are good though. Like the controlled bomb or fire bombs.
  14. Right, I've added the 2 threads. You'll.find them here: http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/forum/96-general-chat-banter/ Cheers Steve
  15. Have you had any good, bad or funny moments in your car that wasn't an audi? Either past or present then share them here :) Cheers Steve
  16. Have you had anything bad, good or funny moments in your Audi? then share them here :) Cheers Steve
  17. Ghosts was fantastic and definitely better. I know what you mean about it feeling rushed. On MP I've found it where your gun will be invisible which means you have to restart the mp mode, I assume this is what you mean by the spawning issue? In terms of weapons one thing I did like was the flame thrower.
  18. Nice one Adam I'll have a look :) I see you're from Nuneaton, we could always do a meet at donington or the aero park near there?
  19. You're welcome, glad I could help :) Hmm, if the alarm was going off with no key in the ignition (so when you unlock the car) then I'd say it's down to the drivers door lock as it was on my a6. However if it's happening when the key is on the second setting then I'd argue it's a programing issue. I'm assuming you've already changed the fob batteries? Cheers Steve
  20. Welcome to the forum Walter, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. Please see Las posts above as to what to do. However I'd keep.one Tyre as evidence. Also I'd contact watchdog. I've advise the other owners to do the same. I get the impression Dunlop are trying to brush this issue under the carpet. Cheers Steve
  21. Hi Ash, unfortunately Audi are your best bet. It won't be cheap to.replace though. Cheers Steve
