Hi Richard, my key question is your a5 consuming oil at an alarming rate? If the answer is yes and you have a warranty or recently bought it from a garage my advice would be to take it back to be assessed. Cheers Steve
  2. My advice would be to speak to your local Audi dealer. I suspect that as a worse case scenario you could damage the Quattro system if you haven't followed the manuals advice. Cheers Steve
  3. I would have thought that you would have had a year warranty on the recall parts. The fact the unit has failed for the recall defect sounds very dodgy and could suggest the recall is in affective. Definitely fight them on it. You should get age related discount as the car is from.2008. might be worth you speaking to Audi customer services and make a complaint. Cheers Steve
  4. Hi Craig the leak should be covered under your warranty depending on your mileage and whether or not the leak has been caused by damage from a crash or otherwise. Cheers Steve
  5. Hi Myles theres quite a few touch screen radios on the market now which incorporate apple car play or Android equivalent. This then allows you to use your phone satnav through them. Again you get what you pay for and I think good ones are around £300. Cheers Steve
  6. Welcome to the forum Marcus, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 watch out for the 2.0 petrol versions as some have serious oil consumption issues and it's a common problem. Here's a YouTube video which might help: Cheers Steve
  7. Glad it's still under warranty and hopefully it won't be anything too serious. I'd be very surprised if it's the battery bas the car is probably not even 4 years old. Cheers Steve
  8. Glad you're pleased with your rs3 Ferhan, sorry you couldn't get an rs4 though. Why are they not sold in your country? Cheers Steve
  9. Hi Hugh, as the car is mainly used for short journeys I'm wondering if the dpf is clogged with soot and as such could account for the start stop not working and reduced mpg. As it's under warranty I'd get it booked into Audi for them to run a diagnostic check and they can do a regeneration on the dpf to clear it out if soot. Cheers Steve
  10. You're welcome, glad I could help 🙂
  11. That's very true audis, along with most other German manufacturers hold their value where as the main stream italian manufacturers like Alfa and fiar don't unfortunately. Im sure they're still building both but I know the vag group is going through ba shake up of it's model line up. Cheers Steve
  12. You're welcome. You could try a different dealer but truthfully I find it easier to use Google maps via handsfree on the mobile phone as it's more accurate. Cheers Steve
  13. In which case I'd get a 16 inch diameter space saver. Cheers Steve
  14. Welcome to the forum Joao, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 happy new year too 🙂 whst size wheels does your a3 have? cheers Steve
  15. It might be worth you getting a main dealer to run a diagnostic check on the car as the main dealer diagnostic systems are more sophisticated than a local garage. Cheers Steve
  16. They are truly an amazing car!
