  1. I agree with Paul, and I can confirm this is how it works as I used to work in a volkswagen service department. As my gran says "you don't get anything free in this life". It might be worth you looking at the service plans and ring round other Audi dealers to see if any of them can do it cheaper :)
  2. Good work there Graham :)
  3. Think I'm old fashioned as I like the tangible item in my hand. So I'll be printing mine. Just paid by the way :) Just got to book a hotel now :)
  4. Right, I've had a diary clash and now can't attend as my brother wants me to help him at Japfest. His Suzuki swift is on display as part of the swift owners club at silverstone. He had already bought me tickets without me realising it. Sorry all. I tell you now, you'll have a great time at Stanford Hall. I was looking forward to seeing the displays from the Mexican and Brazilian beetle register and the type 3 and 4 club. Cheers Steve Cheers Steve
  5. Right, I've gone through my service history. I had both front passenger side hinges replaced in May 2017. Part cost: Upper hinge £13.98 Lower hinge £71.06 I can't really give you an exact price for labour as I had a brake fluid change at the same time. But I'd guess around £100. I'd also expect the hinges to cost roughly the same too. So by my reconning it'll be around £200 to replace the door hinges. This work was done at a local garage NOT Audi. Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve
  6. LMAO 😂 oops! Yep it's on the Saturday. But I was hoping you'd all buy me useless rubbish! 😀 Hence why I mentioned Sunday. it's annoying when my secret plans get foiled! 😂 On a serious note, i.am still waiting to hear back from the organisers with regard to our club display pitch. Cheers Steve :)
  7. Hi Becky, I think your TT will just have Bluetooth for phone calls not for music I'm afraid. Obviously you'll have an aux and possibly USB port as well. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  8. You're welcome :)
  9. Welcome to the forum Paul, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) And yes, you'll be able to request the service history from Audi :) it's good that it has full Audi history. From there you'll be able to know what the car might need. Cheers Steve
  10. I know what you mean. I would have liked more maps as well. Online isn't too bad, especially with the new games of hide and seek.
  11. Has anyone played COD WW2? What do you think of it? What do you think of the recent update?
  12. Welcome the forum Derek, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Sounds like you've been offered some very nice alloys :) Here is a thread I created with regard to Audi wheel fitments. Hope it helps :) Cheers Steve
  13. Welcome to the forum Ricardo, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Just out of curiosity when was a4 last serviced? As it may need an oil change and oil flush. This would be my first choice and what I did with my a6 when I had low oil pressure. The oil change and oil flush solved this issue. I'm unsure on the water bottle issue. Sorry. Also we would love to see your a4 in sunny South Africa :) you'd be more than welcome to share any pictures in our Audi's from around the world section :) Cheers Steve :)
  14. Welcome to the forum Alastair, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) What issues has your a4 been experiencing? I'm assuming you've had a diagnostic check carried out to establish fault codes. The parts you've bought should fit easily but you may need the ecu coding to your car. Cheers Steve
  15. Hi Gary 5w 30 is correct. Here is the info on Audi's website: https://www.audi.co.uk/owners-area/servicing-maintenance-mot/audi-oil.html Audi recommend Castrol edge professional long life 3. When my dad had a 1.6tdi a3 8v he found it used quite alot of oil too. Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve
  16. Here's a harder one. But We've had this film previously.
  17. Lol, well I thought I'd give you all an easy one for a change! 😁 I'll give you the points Mark 😀
  18. Glad I could help :) I did look on eBay but had no luck. If you have one center cap then you could give him.the part number. If you don't have any center caps, then you could give him the allot wheel part number which I'm sure will help when he is looking at connected parts. If that makes sense. Usually the wheel part number is stamped into the back of the wheel.on one of the spokes. Cheers Steve :)
  19. Hi Callum, sorry to hear your having issues. I can't say I've seen it previously on here. I'm assuming you've taken your a3 to Audi? It'll be interesting to see what the tests come back with. But if Audi do say that you need a new headlight (this is the worst case scenario) then I would argue there should be some factory good will applied as the headlights should not need replacing on a 64 plate. Unless your a3 has previously been involved in an accident and not repaired properly. (Again I'm just seeing the worst case scenario). The adaptive lights are controlled by motors I believe and these can seize or fail, I'm sure. Cheers Steve
  20. Here's a new one. Again it's from.a film :)
