  1. Welcome to the forum Wayne, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Id say the fault is linked with the drivers door barrel. On some Audi's the locking system is controlled by the drivers door locking mechanism and if this fails it can cause the central locking to not work properly. I had a similar issue on my a6 where ,the drivers door locking mechanism started to fail and the car wouldn't unlock properly. I had to have an auto electrician replace the drivers door locking mechanism which cost me around £120. Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve
  2. Welcome to the forum Glenn, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) A disk lock will fit the steering wheel and aren't too expensive. I'd also recommend a Faraday pouch to help prevent a potential thief getting hold of the car key signal (I'm assuming your Audi is keyless). Very cheap on eBay. I've also hidden your other thread as it's a duplicate. Cheers :) Steve

  14. Any other guesses?
  15. Bizarrely it was my front passenger side that had to be replaced. Too many passengers slamming the door! No I didn't go to the main dealer. My local garage carried out the work. I have a feeling it was around £300. When I've managed to dig out the service history folder I'll let you know exactly :) Cheers Steve
  16. Yep, I did see that on our conversation :) you beat me to it as I had intended to do it lol :) Don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. I do hope members get involved :)
  17. I've found this website which lists all the Audi wheels which are 5x112 fitment. This maybe useful for anyone needing to know the exact name of the wheel on your Audi or measurements etc. I hope it's useful :) http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/wheels/15-16-audi-wheels-5x112.htm Cheers Steve

  18. Hi Anwar, sorry to hear your wheels were stolen and sorry that no one on hear has responded to you. Did you get sorted in the end? One option you have is buy another set of Audi wheels to put on your car. You'll probably find this is better than aftermarket wheels as the quality of Audi wheels should be better. Cheers Steve
  19. I've done further research. I think they are known either as speedline wheels or a4 polished wheels. Abit random but I've found this website that has the full details of the wheel. http://www.myturbodiesel.com/1000q/wheels/15-16-audi-wheels-5x112.htm I'll keep an eye out for the wheel centres. Cheers Steve
