  1. Well the part numbers I'v provided are for genuine Audi parts and I'd say they'd be the best for got and finish in my opinion. Fitting wise, the lower valance (painted bit) should just unclip from the upper part of the bumper and the grey part should clip in also. Cheers Steve

    DPF?

I think it would be shown on the second picture if you had it fitted. So I would say it's good news :)
  3. Hi Tom its definitely due a cambelt and water pump change. Sorry, I'v not meant to scare you and to be fair I could be making a star in the dark with that to be honest. I suggest this due to the noise occurring when you let off the accelerator. The rattle could also be a failing engine mount? I had that on my a6 and the rattle was caused by a broken engine mount. If the emissions light has come on then this could be due to a failing dpf or egr or at a guess an issue with glow plugs or maybe injectors. I'd definitely get a diagnostic check done. If it helps your local Audi will offer a free health check but obviously this won't include the diagnostic check which I suspect will cost around £60. Sorry I can't help more, Cheers Steve
  4. Well like you say you hope it's not the turbo as it's just been refurbished but I'm assuming you have some form of warranty with it? Replacing the pipes is a good idea as they do have a history of leaking at the seals/joints. I've had a look for part numbers and I've attached 3 ebay links for info. They show you the picture of the part and the part numbers. Here you are: https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A4-B7-1-9-2-0-TDI-INTERCOOLER-TURBO-HOSE-PIPE-04-08-8E0145790P/222628764277?hash=item33d5b55a75:g:DMMAAOSwH35Zpqr6 https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A4-B7-2-0-TDI-2004-07-INTERCOOLER-PRESSURE-HOSE-LOWER-LEFT-8E0145837G/222556316237?epid=1128397811&hash=item33d163e24d:g:7LAAAOSwrfVZTRWS https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A4-B7-2-0TDI-TURBO-INTERCOOLER-HOSE-PIPE-8E0145790P-8E0145790D-NEW/291709798478?hash=item43eb42484e:g:7sAAAOSw-3FZJr8D https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A4-B6-B7-A6-1-9-2-0-TDI-Turbo-Intercooler-Hose-Pipe-8E0145834AR/321812914027?hash=item4aed8b5f6b:g:BEUAAOSwhvFZHXDf Doubt these are all of the pipes but the part numbers and info maybe useful. Have you had a diagnostic check done to see what fault codes (if any) flag up? Hope IV helped :) Cheers Steve
  5. Hi Patrick, I think.it depends on which diffuser you get. The pre facelift s3 had a one piece valance where's the facelift valance came in 2 pieces. This therefore affects the fitment of the diffuser. As yours is a facelift I believe you need 2 parts which are: 8p3 807 434 G the grey bit 8p4 807 521K the painted bit To make it easier I'v attached 2 pics. The first one shows the diffuser on the s line. You can see the great piece at the bottom of the bumper and around the exhaust. And the painted piece is the lower part where the line on the bumper is. Hope that makes sense. The second pic shows the painted part with out the grey piece attached. I got the pics off another site. Hope I'v helped :) Cheers Steve
  6. Hi Phil, can't say I've seen the Audi charging pad in action to be honest. However I've attached some links that may help :) http://www.air-charge.com/about-us/automotive/audi-wireless-charging https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.topspeed.com/cars/car-news/audi-s-new-iphone-case-offers-wireless-charging-through-phone-box-option-ar174139.amp.html Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  7. Welcome to the forum Tom :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) What's the mileage on your a5? My first port of call would be to have a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes (if any) crop up. I'm wondering if this could be a turbo issue? Is there any loss of power at all? Cheers Steve
  8. Hi Wesley, you should be fine to wait till the car service light comes on. Audi use castrol long life oil which is good for 20k/2 years. I've attached this link to the servicing information from Audi. Hope it's useful :) https://www.audi.co.uk/owners-area/servicing-maintenance-mot/servicing-your-audi.html Basically it comes down to your driving style according to Audi. If your doing mainly town driving then they advise once a year but if it's motorway and fast runs then you'll be fine for the 2 year/20k. Hope IV helped :) Cheers Steve
  9. Hi Dragos, when my sister had a similar problem with her golf mk4 diesel it transpired that some of the vains/blades within the turbo had broken off which caused the loss of pulling power. To resolve this she had to have a new turbo. What's the mileage of your a4? Cheers Steve
  10. Welcome to the forum James :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I'm not too sure on what clutch to recommend to you to be honest. But I would advise ringing the tuning company who carried out the work or speak to the previous owner (if possible) to establish which one they fitted. It would be more work but better safe than sorry. Sorry I can't help more :) Cheers Steve
  11. Welcome to the forum Vladimir :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) The wheel torque setting is 80lbs/ft which is 110Nm By the way feel free to post a pic of your Audi in our Audi's from around the world thread. I'd love to see your a3 in the US! :) Cheers :) Steve
  12. Welcome to the forum Paul :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Congratulations on being our first Q2 member!! :) Can't really recommend winter tyres to you as I've never used them, sorry. Cheers Steve
  13. I do admit it looks very professional. If it were an Audi accessory then I suspect there would have been limited variatant ones available. Probably 2 at a guess. Type Audi phone into ebay parts and accessories and you'll see the type of phones I'm.on about. They have the logo on them and are quite large. They probably were fitted to various models but it's worth a look :) Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  14. Hi Ian, It looks like to me, some sort of old style built in telephone. The built in ones were often bigger then your conventional mobile but I think they are still made by phone companies instead of the car companies if that makes sense. Obviously someone has removed the front part of the holder along with the phone. Is there a charger or any wiring running to it? (Behind the bracket attaching it to the dash) I ask as the charger might help identify the manufacturer. Sorry I can't help more, My only experience of a built in car telephone one was on a friend's Volvo 740 gle estate. Cheers Steve
  15. You're welcome :)

  17. Hmm it must be different on the convertible. I know the module is on the passenger side for the hatchback. Sorry.
  18. Welcome to the forum Illya you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Great looking convertible you have there! :) Have a look at our events section as we attend the national shows and hold local.meets as well :) We'd love to display your Audi A4 convertible at up and coming shows :) Cheers Steve
  19. Welcome to the forum Mike :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Firstly have you had a diagnostic check carried out? If not then I'd say this should be your first port of call. The Quattro system is great but can also be sensitive to changes in the car which can cause damage to it. For example uneven or mis-matched tyres, worn suspension parts or bad wheel alignment. Sorry I can't help more though. Cheers Steve
  20. What has your dad said?
  21. Wow! A 16 year old battery!! That's done well!! Glad the project is going well James :) Cheers Steve
