Hi Sean I get this issue occasionally in my Ford escort (my first ever car and now used as a second weekend car ) and for me it's just a case of persuading the seatbelt to unfold. If you can I find pulling on the belt and trying to unfold it at the same time can work, in failing that try pushing the belt through the clip and unfold at the same time if that makes sense. Someone else may have other suggestions but the two I'll mentioned work for me. Cheers :) Steve

Hi Chaz, welcome to the forum :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) By chipping I assume you mean a remap? If so it should improve fuel economy and increase the power as well. The map should also be tailored to your car as each car is different due to age, mileage, condition and the way it's been driven. If the car hasn't been maintained properly then it can accelerate the wear on components that are under stress if that makes sense. Hope IV helped :) Cheers Steve

Thanks Piotr :) I'll have to find out if it'll fit :)

Fitting an Aux input/cable to Nav Plus (w reg)
Steve Q replied to DPBAudiS6's topic in Audi A6 (C5) Forum
Not a problem Dan, glad I could help :) whatsome people have done is fit the aux in one of the blanking plates above the radio, next to the cupholder. One if the buttons should be your esp. But if it's anything like mine then the other 2 could be blanked off with plastic. If that makes sense? I believe the c5 predates Bluetooth so you may have to buy an after market kit like parrot or change your head unit. Cheers Steve- 5 replies

Oops I'll have a look! I have suspicion that it is hella. It's a 1993 escort and it's the passenger side one that's broken. Cheers for your reply Piotr :)

Audi have announced that by 2030 they intend for all their models to be electric. This will start next year with the electric crossover and then an electric sports car. Audi also intend to improve the infrastructure for electric cars by increasing the number of charging stations across the US and Europe in preparation for their electric models. This will rival Tesla's similar charging system. Fitting an Aux input/cable to Nav Plus (w reg)
Steve Q replied to DPBAudiS6's topic in Audi A6 (C5) Forum
Hi Dan welcome to the forum :) The s6 c5 is a great car, and despite it's age itll drive great as long as it's been maintained property :) I'm not too sure about fitting an aux but I have a suspension there is an socket on the back of the radio for an ad on, if that makes sense. Don't quote me on that though. Cheers Steve- 5 replies

Definitely don't have it done. The vag group can't force you to have it done as it's your car. With regard to compensation I think it will be very unlikely that anyone in Europe will get anything as technically non of the VAG cars actually breached European emissions rules and regs despite the cheat device this is why we can opt out. It's more the dishonesty that the EU is annoyed about. We are not as strict here in europe compared to the US.

Hmm I'm not sure then, sorry. Cheers Steve

That's not bad for a 16 year old car :)
