  1. How odd. It's good that you've checked all the things I've suggested :) in terms of suspension I don't think any major components should be on their way out just yet. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  2. Hi Keith welcome to the forum :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I have some questions... What is the Audi dealer saying? What tyres are they? What's the total mileage on the car? Obviously the first two things that need to be checked are Tyre pressures, tracking and wheel balancing. Sorry if I'm telling you how to suck eggs! Also dont forget to check the condition of the wheels for any cracks or buckling. Obviously if the car has covered high mileage then certain parts of the suspension such as the bushes and suspension arms could be wearing out. Cheers Steve
  3. Hi there, here are so e YouTube videos iv found that might be useful :) I've tried to.find a video on how to remove the heater controls but without success. Sorry. But looking online I was incorrect and the radio has to come out before the heater controls come out anyway. So it's irrelevant. Hope the videos helpful though. Cheers Steve
  4. You're welcome :) and of course you are! :)
  5. Audi has just unveiled it's brand new Formula E race car, the FE04 which will make it's debut in season 4 of the Formula E championship in Hong Kong. This is the first formula E car that Audi has designed and built after sponsoring Abt Schaeffler for the last 3 seasons. Schaeffler will be still behind the wheel of the new car which has an improved gearbox. This is a significant step for Audi as some of the technology used in the FE04 will gradually be released on up and coming road cars such as the Audi e-tron SUV which is due next year. Here are the links for further info :) https://www.topgear.com/car-news/electric/audi-unveils-e-tron-fe04-formula-e-racer https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motorsport-formula-e/audi-e-tron-fe04-revealed-brand’s-first-all-electric-racing-car Cheers Steve

  7. You're welcome :) I'm sure Audi will charge you a pretty penny for it all no doubt!
  8. Hi Liam welcome to the forum :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I won't have the answers to all your questions but only some I'm afraid. With regard to the air con, when was this last serviced? Audi recommend this should be done every 2-3 years. Also do all the buttons work on it correctly? I ask this because if it isn't then you'll find it'll witch itself to econ (no air con) mode. With regard to the gearbox is it manual or auto? And in terms of the key, have you changed the battery at all? Oh, and what car are you changing too? Cheers :) Steve
  9. Replicas I believe Piotr

  12. Welcome to the forum Roberto :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Break down? This would depend on service history. Is this full or part history? Also if your a4 has full Audi service history then you can ring Audi to see what work it has had done. What mileage is on your a4? Cheers Steve
  13. Hi Jay I'm sure it can be retro fitted and I bet it would be a combination of programing it in to the car but extra sensors and sensors may need to be installed. I have found this article on another forum and as you can see it's not straight forward fitting lane assist. Hope you find this link useful :) http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?3295-DIY-Audi-Q5-Active-Lane-Assist-Retrofit-DONE Here's similar info for the acc..... http://forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?1732-Adaptive-Cruise-Control-retrofit-(2014-Q5) This next link is info on acc but fitting to an a3 but I suspect it would be a similar principal.... https://www.audiworld.com/forums/audi-a3-s3-rs-3-mkii-209/just-found-adaptive-cruise-control-acc-retrofit-kit-2894987/ Hope IV helped :) Cheers Steve
  14. Welcome to the forum Julian :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) It's odd you can't get the radio out after trying to different sets of keys. You probably can gain access by removing the climate control module. In failing that you may have to take your a3 to Audi or a vehicle radio specialist. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve
  15. Welcome to the forum Mike :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Rough idling could be caused by an incorrect air/fuel mixture but to be fair you had gathered that. It Could be the maf sensor? But I'll see what some of the more experienced members think :) Cheers Steve

  18. Your welcome and thank yu! We definitely try and help.where we can :) As Piotr has said a pic of the glovebox will.help a d I have to agree with him that a diagnostic check might not be a good idea. Like I say though and if it's possible, could it be a blown bulb? Cheers Steve
  19. Welcome to the forum Jay :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I have to say I think the stated mpg figures for any manufacturer is over inflated but manufacturers do t test the cars in real life situations. Cheers Steve

  21. Glad its all sorted :) and it great to see you've found a clever way of changing the bulbs :) Cheers Steve
