  6. Lol! To be fair Ed, when the Tuner is tailoring the map to your car he should take the gearbox and intercooler into account! ;) and over stretch them
  7. Here's a classic...
  8. Hey Ed this is a good idea and has it come about since the parade lap I wonder 😜 Many good Tuner should tailer the map to your specific car. I say this as each car is different due to age, mileage, maintenance history and even the way it's been driven. Obviously the map increases bhp but it can also smoothen out the torque curve and potentially can increase mpg as the engine i less restricted. The drawback being it can wear an components out fast that may have already been on their way out if that makes sense. Cant really comment on any tuning company myself as iv not used any. Hipe iv helped :) cheers steve
  9. Does anyone know how I can find out the production numbers for my a6 7 seater? I know on how many left there are 711 cars left of the 2.5tdi se manual but I want to know how many 7 seater a6 versions were made and how many still exist. Anyone got any ideas of how I find out? Cheers steve
  10. Well I'm glad you've had some sort of result Chris :) let's hope it's just that silicone seal :) glad Audi didn't charge you anything :) and it's good to know spout the 5 year drivetrain warranty :) please keep us posted :) cheers steve

  12. Welcome to the forum Wayne :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I personally haven't had any experience with carbon cleaning but know a couple of people who had it done and seemed happy with the results. Itll just allow the engine to be abit more free and so should run better :) hopefully some of our other members have had it done and may be able to advise further :) Cheers Steve
  13. Not surprised your annoyed to be honest. Hmm, this could be an issue with a coil pack, glow plug or injector but your best bet would be to get the car plugged in for a diagnostic check. Keep us posted on how you get on. Cheers Steve
  14. Ah yes you raise a fair point! But I just go on the view everything goes in at 200-220 degrees for 10-20 mins lol. Then keep checking it!
  15. Well I'd say there is nothing to worry about ;)
  16. Well Audi should have done a free health check when they did the cambelt and waterpump. If they have said there is nothing to worry about then I think you'll be fine :)
  17. Hey Dave, im wondering if this is suspension related? Or suspension arms or bushes? In failing that do you know if your power steering is electronic or hydraulic? Cheers steve
  18. Glad it's all sorted :) yes I would suspect that was the original belt to be honest. Now you can start modding it! ;)
