    E-Tron Recall

Bless ya, fingers crossed it's all good
  2. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. I'd recommend looking on eBay but include international sellers
  3. As it's been caused due to an accident I'd recommend getting it checked over anyway. I wonder if a crash sensor can cut the engine?
  4. You reading my mind kev? 😉
  5. Hello all, I'm seeking advice on the 3.0tdi fwd manual out of curiosity and seems a rare car. Does anyone know what the engine codes are for this version and gearbox codes/model of 6 speed manual? Thank you for any advice or info on this model is greatly appreciated 🙂 Just trying to increase my knowledge base.
  6. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Sby warning lights on the dash? Anything in the engine bay dislodged that could be getting squashed when bonnet is closed?
  7. You're welcome, please keep us posted on how you get on ☺️
  8. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Definitely get all hoses checked relating to the turbo.
  9. Could it be injector issue or injector seal issue? Or a lambda sensor issue.
  10. What ever Audi claim take 10mpg off those figures for a more realistic idea. Adblue is just another fluid to fill into a separate tank every 1000 miles or so. Adblue system problems are documented which Include issues with the level sensors, pumps etc. The hybrid part will benefit you round town. Plus it'll mean it'll be ulez compliant I think. Do t forget to check buyers guides on YouTube.
  11. Just letters I believe.
  12. I've had a similar problem with my A6. In order for an engine to work it needs to have the matching ECU, injection pump. If it's not the same engine code it'll need to be coded to the current injection pump. As the injection pump, ECU and instrument cluster are all linked with the imobiliser. Or that's at least the case with my older A6. If you find someone who can do the engine swap and it's not the same engine code then please let me know
  13. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  14. Gareth does raise a good point and to add, have you checked the plug socket in/on the house that you use?
  15. This seems unusual but also not surprising when you look at similar failures with other ev batteries and motors.
  16. It's been 25 years of the A2! To celebrate, Audi has reinvented the model with a striking new look – and electric power ⚡️ https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/audi-a2-e-tron-revealed-ev-reworking-hypermiling-hatchback
  17. Ha e you managed to confirm it's the cable and not a fault with the car?
  18. No probs at all please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  19. Well it's not good if Audi don't know. I'm still thinking you can't from the previous research I've done
  20. Welcome to the new Q6 section. Feel free to post your queries, advice and tips here 🙂
  21. I could be wrong. And I'd definitely recommend speaking to Audi to doubly confirm.
  22. Glad it's still working as it should 2 years on 🙂
  23. Glad you had a positive experience and got sorted 🙂
  24. This seems to suggest a boot handle (Item 2) problem. These are electric, not mechanical, and it seems it is not communicating with the lock assembly. Also water can get into the motor and lock it up. You could try getting two people to help. One to mess with the cable and one to lift the boot lid. Then replace the motor if that seems wrecked from water. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up and check the fuses.
  25. I dont think you can. From the info I've got from Audi: When the ignition is switched off, the UTR automatically switches to "Parking mode", in which the vehicle is monitored by radar and G-Sensor. If a person approaches your vehicle or if your vehicle experiences a physical impact, the camera is activated and records the action in a short video. When the Audi Universal Traffic Recorder (UTR) is in Parking mode, it monitors the car's battery and energy requirements and turns off when the limit is reached. This helps to conserve the battery and keep the car operational. The UTR records a 20-second sequence if it detects motion or vibrations in front of the radar sensors. If the recording is triggered by vibrations, it's saved in the "Event" folder on the SD card. If it's triggered by motion, it's saved in the "Parking" folder. The UTR is a recording device with a full HD camera that can be installed in the front or rear of an Audi. The UTR App can be used with the UTR to manage data, live view, adjust the recorder's settings, and use the car finder function.
