  2. No probs at all
  3. Welcome to the forum Ricky you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Nice you've got a two car Audi family 🙂
  4. If you've bought it from a dealer I'd get it back to them asap for repair. They should repair it free of charge
  5. You're welcome please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  6. Not sure if these threads will help: https://forums.tdiclub.com/index.php?threads/vacuum-routing-refresher.257619/ https://forums.tdiclub.com/index.php?threads/volkswagen-tdi-alh-vacuum-diagrams-stock-modified.290286/ https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/656655-Vacuum-Hose-Routing-Diagram https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a8-s8-d3-platform-discussion-60/need-vacuum-hose-diagram-2784211/

As Cliff says plus it's a money making racquet
  8. I wonder if this is a fault with the instrument cluster. You can send it off for an assessment and repair. Repairs usually are around £200-£300
  9. Darn. I'll take another look online to see what more I can find 🙂
  10. No you should be able to I think. I think it'll depend if it has canbus which was first introduced either in 2003 or 2004. My A6 is pre canbus so it's slightly harder due to the system not being as complex as later ones. But either way a competent mechanic should be able to diagnose it.
  11. This will depend on spec but there were changes to the headlights, rear lights and safety systems
  12. Id recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be an issue with the window switch. Or bizarrely it might be worth checking the battery to make sure it's working efficiently as a failing battery can throw up unusual electrical gremlins
  13. Just checked similar threads. I member had a similar issue with there A1 and the positive terminal had corrosion which was stopping it from starting properly:
  14. Also I r just found this workshop diagram which should help. The link gives a full breakdown. https://workshop-manuals.com/audi/a3_mk2/power_unit/4-cylinder_tdi_unit_injector_engine_(2.0_ltr._4-valve)_mechanics/exhaust_system/exhaust_gas_recirculation_system_vehicles_with_engine_codes_azv_bkd/connection_diagram_for_vacuum_lines/
  15. It's probably a case of one issue but mechanics are struggling to diagnose it. What engine has the A1 got and how many miles?
  16. You're welcome, happy to help. If the car has sat along time it might be worth considering the battery being at fault. Especially if it's over 5 years old. You could get this tested to see if it's working properly.
  17. From looking online I'd suspect more the pipe first.
  18. If this has been bought from a dealer in the last 30 days then it should be the dealers responsibility to fix free of charge. Alternatively, have you had a diagnostic test to see if any fault codes flag up? Could it be an issue with the cars imobiliser?
  19. Are you sure it's the reservoir and not the pipe?
  20. I'd recommend getting the tracking checked, as well as having the suspension checked. Predominantly the suspension arms as these could be affecting the tyre wear.
  21. Fantastic news 😊
  22. No probs at all 🙂
  23. Glad you're nearly sorted. Sorry the last bit isn't working.

SD card will only work if sat nav is enabled on the MMI. If it's not enabled then its roughly a £500 job at the main dealer.
  25. Do t get me started. My wife's Jag xe is getting harder and harder to insure. Companies don't want to touch anything from the jaguar land rover group. It's about time insurance companies were more heavily regulated
