  3. Thanks Trevor :) and that very true! Hopfully we can gain more interest :)
  4. No one seemed to get this one. The r8 was in the 2010 film Date night. Heres the next one. This should be easier!! ;)
  5. Not posted on this topic in a little while. Here's an Audi advert I'd forgotten about! And a couple I didn't even know about... Enjoy :)
  6. I agree with Gareth on this one Matt. Sounds like thebdealer is trying to fob you off to me. Iv never experienced that on ANY Audi I have been in and after working in the motor trade and having family with new Audis and other vag cars I can tell you it's not normal. What you could also do is be cheeky and find an identical one at a dealer and test drive it to see if it's the same. If it is then you know it's a design flaw (but I HIGHLY doubt it) or just your car. For me it sounds like an issue with a control module or something. Especially as it's blowing cold air your side. Just out of curiosity what's it like then the ventilation system is on hot? Is it hotter more one side than the other? Hope iv helped cheers steve
  7. Welcome to the forum Dave :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) have you got any pics? In my opinion if it's in good condition it's probs worth atleast 2-3k. I say this due to rarity and mileage. The only comparable vehicle would be a late model Audi 80 S2. There's one on eBay currently with the 2.2 engine. The seller is asking £19,999! I would post the link but it doesn't work for me. Your best bet is putting Audi 80 in an eBay under cars and putting the sorting by price highest first. Other comparable cars are the rs2 and s2 which are very expensive. But the key to any old performance Audi in terms of its value (not meaning to be insulting there!) is all about the condition, originality i.e. Not modded, service history (ideally full), low mileage and backed up with said service history and colour. The fact it has no mot will go against it of course. Oh and if you do get it back on the road we would love to display it on out club stands for up and coming Audi shows! :) Hope iv helped :) cheers steve
  8. Welcome to the forum Cameron :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) hopefully someone will be able to offer you one :)
  9. I agree with Rob, the scuttle trays often get blocked. Just make sure it's not leaking into the cabin! I say this as it has been know to happen on older Audi models. Such as the a6 c5
  10. That's great! We're all free for weekends. Il email them to find out their availability :)
  11. Hey Clive, your doing the right thing and having the car serviced first :) it's very important that the car is in fine fettle before you have a remap done as the remap will put more wear on components that are already wearing out. This will speed up the wear too.
  12. They are a good idea. As I feel the level of driving is getting worse in the uk! They're supposed to help reduce your insurance as well! ;)
  13. Welcome to the forum Jason :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) if the a7 has full Audi history then you can ring Audi to see what work the car has had. Obviously check to see if the cambelt and waterpump has been changed as I suspect the car is due the change by now. This also goes for the Quattro system. Check to see when it was last serviced and check tyre wear. I say this as the Quattro system can be sensitive to uneven tyre wear and this can potentially damage the Quattro system. Obviously check to see if all electronic components work as they can be expensive to fix. Im assuming it's an auto. If so make sure the gear changes are smooth both in both auto and manual modes. Check to see in the service history when the gearbox oil was last changed. But like I say if it's full Audi history then you can ring them to check all this ;) another thing I would advise is an independent inspection which can be carried out by companies such as the AA or RAC. If the seller is reluctant or refuses for you to have this done then you have to ask what the seller has to hide! Finally I have to comend you on your choice of Audi as the a7 is a lovely car :) hope iv helped :) cheers steve
  14. Great pics Brad! :)
  15. Lovely car Anton! :) would love to see your Audi in some of the Kuwait scenery! ;) if it's ok, can I put these pics in the Audis from around the world topic?
  16. I looks alright, I do have to agree that they seem to be targeting the American market both with the exterior and interior. That virtual reality head set thing to look at your spec choice sounds quite good. But then again you want to make sure it's right if your spend £100,000+ on a car! I bet it was an amazing experience going to the unavailing Fraser :)
  17. Iv put your name down Rob :)
  18. Sounds good! Il put your name down rob :)
  19. Oh no! Not good! But at least he is starting to eat, which is definitely a good thing! Like I say let me know about the Coventry transport museum meet up. Did I mention it's FREE! ;)
  20. Don't worry Rob there are plenty of other shows and meet ups :) we're planning a meet up at the Coventry transport museum. Have a look under the midlands meets section and let me know if you're interested :) hope everything went ok at the hospital by the way
