  1. As long as it's a MK2 version then yes it will.
  2. So sad to hear this news. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and you keV as I know you knew him. Please pass our condolences onto the family from me and the rest of the admin team.
  3. You're welcome and you're correct, 3.0 is chain. Listen for any rattling from the chain.
  4. Might be worth speaking to Audi about the software update
  5. Pollen filter or pollen filter housing?
  6. We'll within the warranty period then
  7. You will find it is an offence for the driver or any passenger to not wear a seatbelt in any country in western Europe. On top of that the driver gets the fine for each passenger not wearing a belt. Not only that, I doubt you'll find a company that will deactivate the chime as I believe it's an offence to tamper with safety systems regarding seatbelts. Furthermore, if these systems are found to be tampered with then your MOT and insurance is void. I just can't understand why passengers wouldnt want to wear a seatbelt, the world as moved on since the 1950s/60s & 70s. I'd advise your passengers to watch videos on what happens when they don't wear a seatbelt. Needless to say, the one sat behind you can ultimately kill you as they hit the back of your seat!
  8. Known fault often with the adblue sensor/float.
  9. I'd definitely look at eBay. They're just bonded on I believe.
  10. Service history is key especially with the gearbox. Has the Cambelt and water pump been changed? Is there any juddering from the gearbox? Is there any whine from the turbo? Do all the electronic items work? As some can be expensive to change. Any spoke out of exhaust which could be caused by a blocked dpf.
  11. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  12. No probs. When was it done? Usually you get 12 months guarantee on work carried out on an insurance claim.
  13. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  14. My gut is that it's not the battery but I'm only guessing
  15. I can't say I've ever heard of this before and never experienced it with my own A6 which we've owned 21 years in the family and had multiple cambelts changed. I'd recommend a second opinion. Could it be a power steering pump or linked to the auxiliary belt?
  16. Auto glass should pay for it. If it was changed through your insurance company then I'd recommend you contact them asap.
  17. It'll scuff the bottom.of the mudflaps over time. I question the legality of one individual fitting a speed hump to a private road, as a private road repair and maintenance has to be shared between all houses on that road.
  18. It'll fit the engine bay but youl need the matching ECU and injection pump from the donor and it'll need coding to the ECU and instrument cluster
  19. Hope you had a good Christmas, from the sounds of it I think it needs a garage to diagnose it properly. If it's a fuel pressure issue could it be the pump.
  20. Is this a similar case?
  21. Water in the boot I'd say could be coming from rear light seals, or bot seals where it meets the roof. Could it be the solenoid in the boot lock mechanism causing it to pop open I wonder? Has it had a further diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up since the initial repair?
  22. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If you're lucky, a software update might be all it needs. Worse case scenario the units failed.
  23. Have you checked the pollen filter housing?
  24. I think you could be right, 128 might be the max but unsure why.
  25. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Have you looked to replace the actuator?
