I'm very surprised you were recommended a remap when the ecu already was registering an issue. Its weird the issue only occurs at 3500 rpm. I'm sure other members will be able to advise better than me. Cheers steve

Welcome to the forum Ben :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and bunch :) i would agree with Bradley and say it's the remap. But what condition was the car prior to the remap? I ask as a remap can accelerate thaw wear on various components if the car was not in fine fettle when the remap was carried out. Cheers steve
  6. Welcome to the forum Craig :) uoull find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) it could be the element but it could also be as simple as a loose wire under the seat. I doubt it would be a fuse or relay to be honest as I suspect both seats will run off the same fuse and relay. Cheers steve
  7. Hi Andrew, Have you had the tracking checked? Also lowing the car too much can put strain on various other suspension components and bushes. Sorry I can't help any more but just a couple of my suggestions cheers steve

  14. Welcome to the forum Zee :) you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I had a similar issue with my a6 and found the drivers door locking mechanism to be to blame. Cost me £120 to fix. Obviously it's not a central locking issue as the doors unlock when the ignition is turned and locks off the key. Hope iv helped :) cheers steve
