  1. As it says. Audi have announced that the a3 3 door will cease production in 2019 due to low demand and to save money thanks to the emissions scandal. Here is the article: https://www.carthrottle.com/post/the-three-door-audi-a3-will-soon-be-no-more/ enjoy! :)
  2. Hey Trevor I was thinking rockingham but if you know some services or car park that would be better then let me know :)
  3. Glad you got to the bottom of it Damian! Isn't it funny how Audi have said the part doesn't exist there! I wonder if that part is designed to be changed at the same time as the pump if that makes sense? Cheers steve
  4. Hmm it should be either near the handbrake, the armrest or centre console.
  5. Just wow. im sure all these unusual conditions didn't exist 50 years ago.....
  6. Everything comes back into fashion eventually! ;) i personally love all that 60s and 70s stuff! But I did draw the line at my grans green kitchen and orange tiles and white Lino flooring with tourquoise diamonds!
  7. Welcome to the forum Andrew :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) joe is right, your best bet is plugging it into the aux socket. Cheers steve :)
  8. Steve Q

    Audi Q7

They are huge! And Deffo mode suited for the US. Cars are just getting so damn big now!
  9. I thought some of the stickers were great too!
  10. In relation to my questions, there could be various reasons why it's trying to cut out. I'm assuming it splutters and has a rough idle? Potential causes: Engine overheating lack of fuel to the engine (fuel pump?) lack of air to the engine (air sensor?) mother members may have other suggestions. Hole iv helped cheers steve :)
  11. Welcome to the forum Tasha, sorry to hear your having issues with your a4 but you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) my first few questions: when does the car cut out? How long have you been driving before it cuts out? and what is the engine temperature just before it cuts out? cheers steve
  12. Great report therebGraham! Top work! It certainly looks like you all had fun! :)

  15. Couldn't agree more! And yep I understood :) well it's a coupe so I guess it's a start lol
  16. Exactly Dan! Car designs are bound to get similarities. But I guess that's over 100 years of the automobile for you! It's just like anything, styles keeping coming round and around! I have to agree with you there! I'd have the Q2 over the princess despite the fact I do like the princesses wedged shape and did you know it had dydrogas suspension and was one of the first cars to have a seatbelt buzzer/binger! In terms of the sd1, I love them. You can't beat that styling! But I have to disagree with you on the a7. I love the rear of the a7 but not a big fan of the front! I do think theba7 needed more of a slanted nose like the sd1! Isn't it funny how we all have different tastes. I guess that's what makes the market place so crowded and bouyant Exactly! What we are achieving is nothing new except the fact cars are being stuffed with more gimmicks and gizmos. Also the fact they bang on about electric cars being the future and a fancy new technology but there were electric carriages in the late 1800s-very early 1900s. One manufacturer was Accumulator Industries and their carriage could go 8 miles without charges. This is back in 1899! I di think car designers need to be abit more bold with their styling! I want to see Ford with the consul Capri or even just a regular Capri. And Volkswagen to bring back the karmann ghia and fastbacks etc etc ;) and again I side with you on driving an older Audi! Mine is pretty worthless now due to mileage and thanks to the government. So I will run it until innonlonger can get parts!
  17. Have fun today guys :) make sure you get some pics! :)
  18. Mind you it's no different with people saying there are similarities between the a7 and rover sd1! Please note, these are not my views but to be honest I do love both the sd1 and a7 fastback styling and wish there was more of it about!
  19. I'm going to cause controversy for the first post in the Q2 section but someone one an Audi Facebook book as raised similarities between the Q2 and Austin princess! What do you all think?
  20. So true Craig! But definitely more unusual on a 1990s Audi!
  21. Don't worry, it makes sense! 😂I know the feeling about the alcohol too lol 😂 Id leave them off all the time unless you intend to leave the kids or dog in the car ;)
  22. Thought I'd share these pics taken by my brother who is currently on holiday in Northern Ireland. This Audi certainly has a unique paint job!
  23. Your most welcome :) thats great! It's nice when it's an easy fix! ;) but to be fair you'll find a lot of electrical gremlins can be traced back to weak or duff batteries! The problem with older Audis is that they can be expensive to fix in terms of how often they go wrong. I speak from experience here. To be fair though the balljoints army a big surprise to me as the a8 is a big car!
  24. Hey Paul, Jacques is completely correct :) just to add, they will illuminate when you press them. Cheers steve
  25. Hopefully it all gets sorted :) as I say servicing wise it should be 12montha/20,000 miles which ever comes first. VAG cars nowadays are put on long life servicing. Couldnt agree more about finding a good garage! They are few and far between!
