  1. Your most welcome :) glad I could help :) feel free to look any of the up and coming shows. Your more than welcome to display your a5 on the club display :)
  2. Hey Dave, I won't be able to help with all questions but il offer my advice :) the service interval is long life so every 20k miles or 2 years I believe. I would deffo ask Audi about the kick plate as you should get a 10 year anti perforation warranty with the body. Don't know how this will apply but I imagine it should be covered. With regard to mudflaps I'm unsure but I don't see why you can't get front ones. Mum unsure on the wheel offset, sorry. Hope iv helped :) cheers steve
  3. Welcome to the forum Graeme :) sorry I can't help with your questions but you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) and nice to see your from Belfast :) my dad is from portadown and he and the rest of the family are there in holiday currently :) i do like Belfast especially the ss normadic :)
  4. Couldn't agree more Dan :) but to be fair I think it's a combination of being the biggest Audi show of the season and iv done better planning :)
  5. Nice one Paul :) wish I was technically minded lol
  6. 10am to the public but as members on a club display we have to be there for 9 :)
  7. I'd dread taking mine in! She's currently having both driveshafts replaced and at least 2 new engine mounts! To be fair though it's never had driveshafts previously so I think getting 324,800 miles out of them is pretty good! Last week she had lower suspension arms and rear discs and pads! Abd I know she'll need the upper suspension arms doing before the mot in March! But il have it done because I'm crazy and I live this a6 as it has sentimental value!
  8. Glad it went well Paul :) them sending you a video is routine stuff now :) sounds like your car is in great health :)
  9. Welcome to the forum David :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) i have to agree with Paul and if it were me I'd take the higher powered model :) especially as it doesn't effect insurance or tax! Plus it will make it more desirable when you come to sell it on ( I know that sounds a daft thing to think about before you've collected it). But it should be taken into consideration. Also let's face it you'll be waiting another 3 months at least for your car to be built again! Also id have a look on the Audi configurator and see what the price difference is between the 2 engines. Keep us posted on how you get on :) cheers steve
  10. Just to add to Gareth's post one thing you could do after you've dried the boot/tailgate out and taken off the trim panel you could get someone to sit in the boot and watch whilst you spray the boot and roof with a pressure washer. Hope iv helped :) cheers steve
