  1. Me being stupid Matthew. You can find out the mileage of a car via the dvla mot check ;) id just forgotten you could do that!
  2. Not a problem Beth :) i did look on eBay for you but I didn't find anything either :/ personally you don't see them that often. Il keep an eye out though :)
  3. That sounds good! :) iv been working today but going out tonight with family to celebrate my sisters birthday (she's back this weekend from Belgium). So plenty of beer tonight! ;) I'm then driving to Essex tomorrow to see family :)
  4. I don't see why not :) just add it to the attendee list page :)
  5. Thanks Gareth :) its definitely in good condition! :) I'm wondering the same thing Matthew!
  6. For those who are attending don't forget to order your Audi Owners club t shirt on the other topic under the regional club meets section!! The deadline is fast approaching!! Oh and did I mention they are FREE to those attending vag Tuner Live and have confirmed their attendance :)
  7. Welcome to the forum Steve! :) I have to say your country has great scenery :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) unfortunately I'm unable to help though. Sorry. When you get a chance feel free to post a pic of your a6 :) cheers steve
  8. Welcome to the forum :) Good choice on next car by the way. The a8 is a lovely car! i suspect it will be standard on the a8L w12 or s8 but unsure on the other models. To be honest I'm surprised it isn't standard on the a8 anyway. Also if the acc does go wrong it can be very expensive to fix. The camera can also get dislodged by debris and at which point the car will need a 4 wheel alignment and camera recalibration which is a big job due to the complexity of the camera. Cheers steve
  9. Thanks for your reply Dan :) i guess il have to start to do some measuring! :) and yea I knew I would need to change the pads just didn't know if they'd fit in the original calipers. The a6 wheels are always shod in Bridgestones as that's what my dad has always used and recommended. He tried others but found the bridgestones to be the best on the a6. Like you, I see it pointless buying rubbish tyres. They wear out quicker plus the fact they effect handling and braking. Most people forget The tyres are the only thing keeping you on the road. Thanks again :)
  10. Welcome to the forum Beth :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) how much are they selling for at the main dealers? Oh and iv moved this topic to the a3 section :) cheers steve
  11. Your a3 is lovely! You can tell it's well cared for! :) what mileage is on her? It looks like a low mileage car. and more unusual being a 3 door in my opinion:)
  12. Welcome to the forum Robert :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) the thing is one is a SUV and one is an estate car so I think it depends on what you intend to use it for. 2 things with regard to the Porsche is that everything from the purchase price through to servicing will be more. Also the Macan looks like a baby cayenne. I feel the public will have the same opinion on the macan As they do with the boxter. Poor mans 911 and poor mans cayenne. Plus you'd be hated less for driving an Audi than a Porsche. Please note these aren't my opinions and I'm not trying to be biased towards the Audi. As i bet the Porsche will Deffo be more luxurious and better built than the Audi hence the price. Obviously being an SUV it'll be more practical depending on where you live. Countryside perfect but inner city probably not and in which case the Audi will probs be more ideal :) another option could be an Audi sq5. I would suspect this is on the same floor pan as the Porsche. It could be the best of both worlds for you? Sorry if iv been controversial. cheers steve
  13. Any thoughts peeps?
  14. Welcome to the forum Keith :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch and will help you where they can :) unfortunately I can't be of much help as I have little experience of the brand new Audis. Sorry. But if it were me I'd go for the bigger engine. Il probably cause controversy on here now but the age old aging goes "there's no replacement for displacement" Cheers steve
  15. Welcome to the forum Matthew! :) youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch and if you have any questions then don't hesitate to ask :) you got one of the best specs for the a3 in my opinion :) when you get a chance feel free to post a pic of your a3 :) cheers steve
  16. Hi Phil, i would definitely say that the suspension settings will have something to do with it. Especially if it's not completely in balance. Sorry I can't help more though. Great jack by the way :) cheers steve
  17. Hey Paul, iv not personally. Sorry that you've been redirected. It's really weird!

  19. That's a good call Trevor! It's similar to VW viper green. Which is a nice colour! :)
  20. Glad there were no codes present :) keep an eye on it though incase the warning light comes back on.
  21. Or what about jaguars flamenco red?
  22. But an equally good blue hue is Ford imperial blue!
  23. As the title says really. Let's see what car colours you guys and girls think are the best. This can be from any manufacturer :) heres the first one: Audi sprint blue!
