  1. The damage they do to the wings is well documented. I'd definitely recommend just removing them.
  2. A 2.0tfsi with no service history! Wouldn't touch it. The 2.0tfsi was notorious for oil consumption problems and eating piston rings which are expensive to fix. If it's too good to be true it probably is.
  3. Sounds less likely to be head gasket. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up?
  4. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  5. The link isn't spam as it's a link to a thread from.this forum 👍
  6. Issue with the heater matrix being blocked? Issue with the control module?
  7. Glad you're making progress 🙂
  8. Had a member with a similar fault couple of years ago, here's the thread:
  9. Che k buyers guides on YouTube. Che k service history for proof of Cambelt and water pump changes, gearbox oil services etc. Make sure heater works and is consistent through all vents for heat as this could be a sign of a blocked heater matrix. Make such a works properly as a compressors can be expensive.

  15. Oh wow what a mess, not sure what to advise
  16. Glad it's nothing to worry about 🙂
  17. Looks great! 👍🙂
  18. Has it done it since. The system definitely needs checking thoroughly. It could be an incorrectly sealed expansion bottle cap. That'd be your cheapest option. Is there any white smoke out of the exhaust or what looks like mayonnaise around the oil cap?
  19. How did you get on with this?
  20. Your best bet is ask the tuner. Make sure it's done a rolling road so the map is tuned specifically to your car.
  21. Glad you got sorted and no probs at all 🙂
  22. Fingers crossed for you 🤞
  23. There should be either a build sticker on the inside front cover if the service book or in the wheel well edge which will have all the codes linked to the cars colour and spec.
  24. Is the compass in the interior mirror like on the older A6 C5 allroad?
  25. Che j buyers guides on YouTube. But key things when was cambelt and water pump last changed? If an auto when was the gearbox oil last changed. Make sure all electrical items work as parts such as air con compressors can be expensive. Make sure heating is consistent from all vents as inconsistent temperature or power could be a blocked heater matrix. Make sure the roof works! And more importantly that's no leaks or water ingress/wet carpets etc.
