  1. We use the one from Screwfix in the works minibus with no faults so far.
  2. Glad you're pleased with the remap
  3. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Might be worth getting an auto electrican to see if there's any broken wiring in the loom.
  4. It could be an issue with the module.
  5. Id suspect quite rare. Great model of A4.
  6. I'd recommend you take it back to Audi as you gave 12 months warranty on the work I believe
  7. The mesh restricts airflow I believe to help lower the emissions. I'd recommend you speak to darkside developments, Celtic tuning etc to see if they can map it out.
  8. Not sure to be honest
  9. For reference I think the genuine Audi one is made by westfalia or they used to be.
  10. A cvt that's not been well serviced could give you problems. With the road conditions you're describing it sounds like you need a high vehicle/4x4 ect.
  11. No longer democracy I'm afraid
  12. You're welcome, I know what a daft idea!
  13. To try and code it out it might be worth you speaking to autologics or Audi retrofits
  14. Have you tried Witter? https://www.witter-towbars.co.uk/towbars/audi/a8/saloon
  15. That's good to hear 🙂 let's hope you continue to have trouble free motoring
  16. Ill assume the cars on long life servicing which I think is 20k or 2 years which ever comes first
  17. That's great to hear. I know you said you ordered the head unit from ATD but can you advise me on the name of the head unit and it's features?
  18. Could be an issue with the wire in the brake pad which lets the sensor know when the pad is low. Or the sensor or sensor wiring
  19. That looks cracking! Are you pleased with the head unit?
  20. You're welcome and thanks Gareth, she certainly will be! She's a Christmas present that came early
  21. Good question Gareth, not sure if it's electronic or not.
  22. Egr = exhaust gas recirculation valve DPF = Diesel particulate filter Both of these can get clogged and break. They're both about £1000 to replace. DPF goes wrong on diesels that do short journeys only. All diesel cars post 2009 have them.
  23. Thank you Gareth, hope you and your family have a merry Christmas and happy, healthy and prosperous new year.
  24. Service book should be stamped to prove servicing. Now depending if this is on long life servicing or not will depend on the amount of stamps. Longlife is 2 years 20k if memory serves correctly whereas the other option Is once a year at 12 or 10k. I'm going from memory though. Also you'll want to see if there's any proof of the gearbox oil being changed, especially if it's an auto. This goes for the quattro system too. Do all electrical items work? Any proof of Cambelt and water pump change? Or any evidence in service history of the egr or dpf being changed. As these 2 are expensive if they go wrong
