No I had my cambelt change on thursday last week went home all good friday went to work my glow plug light flashing car in limp mode plugged it in showed that as in picture called audi went to see them monday yestrday morning,he said all good cleared code if come back its EGR valve? Btw the glow plug light comes and goes strange
Hmm well if it's egr/egr cooler that's failed i doubt Audi will want to say it's anything to do with the cambelt change and will want to replace it at a tune of approximately £1200

Im going to call tomorrow morning and complain! How come their computer doesnt pick up the belt fault ?
This may be because the fault occurred after a 100 miles after it was fitted if that makes sense?
Obviously the garage wouldn't have road tested too far. Hence why it probably didn't show up.

You should never jet wash an engine bay of any car as this can ruin your electrics. I use various cleaning products but I never use water.

Hi Carl, welcome to the forum :)
You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)
You'd be exactly right in saying that the only difference with the s line is lowered suspension 30mm I believe) and the body kit, plus a slightly different interior. The wheels should bolt straight on and plenty of TT owners have done this.
If you can't order the car with the wheels, sometimes the dealer will allow you to upgrade once the car has arrived. Almost like having accessories fitted at a later date such as mudflaps etc. If that makes sense.
Your best bet would be to speak to the dealer you ordered the car from directly with this matter. Or potentially their service department.
Sorry I can't help more but hope IV helped a little :)
Cheers

Hi Darren
Sorry I seemed to have missed this post! If it were me I'd go for a light tint all round.
And Id have to agree with Steve and say a remap would be far better. As the age old saying goes "you get what you pay for".
With a proper remap this will not only improve bhp but will smoothen out the torque curve and can potentially increase mpg as the engine is less restricted.
Hope IV helped :)

for PC I'm usually on Starcraft 2. I'm thinking of getting PUBG.
I'm mostly on PS4 these days on FIFA, BF1 or Rocket League.
Rocket League is a cracking game! For me though I do like my COD ghosts and GTA of course!

Hi Ian welcome to the forum :)
youll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)
iv seen this happen on other cars and seems to occur when people are too heavy handed with the parcel shelf.
If it were me and car giant had offered to fix it then I would let them even if it does cause you slight inconvenience.
I would assume you can buy the clip from Audi to be honest :)
cheers

Thanks Steve.
Yea I had started with my plan on my old car,
it was lowered, bigger turbo, chipped ecu, decat, egr delete, big brakes all round and mechanically it was spot on.
It needed a full respray, doors, bonnet and a pair of wings...
I got offered the blue one and I loved the colour. it is a lot cleaner bodily so I went for it.
its a bit higher spec. its got 4 x electric windows, full leather, climate control and cruise
where as the old car only had front electric windows and I had fitted the half leather from a 1.8tqs.
the old car only had a middle lap belt also so with the blue one having the middle 3 point belt I liked that also.
I stole the grill off it and the wheels before I sold it but it more or less went with all the mods already done.
My mate bought it so hopefully hell finish it.
parked next to my other mates 1.9 tdi quattro.
It's always nice when you go up a spec ;)

I put my phone in the arm rest to charge yesterday. When I got home, as I opened the door I got a message that ‘your mobile phone is still in the vehicle’. Very clever!
That is very clever Phil!
Also I think you'll find if you click and hold your key fob button (unlock) all 4 windows should go down and then will do the opposite with the lock button ;)
Rob, a fellow member taught me that! ;)

Hi Luan welcome to the forum:)

the bumper will fit no problem, the biggest issue you may have is getting the right sized grill.

Hi Steve, thank you for your help.. this hasn't been brought on by the parade lap!! Ha ha. I just feel the A6 deserves more than a poorly inherited EA189 update. And I guess a remap is the only avenue to take. I am aware that the DMF and Clutch may protest at the extra torque etc , I just hope the extra boost pressues etc don't blow intercooles etc.
Lol!
To be fair Ed, when the Tuner is tailoring the map to your car he should take the gearbox and intercooler into account! ;) and over stretch them

Here's a classic...

Hey Ed this is a good idea and has it come about since the parade lap I wonder 😜
Many good Tuner should tailer the map to your specific car. I say this as each car is different due to age, mileage, maintenance history and even the way it's been driven.
Obviously the map increases bhp but it can also smoothen out the torque curve and potentially can increase mpg as the engine i less restricted. The drawback being it can wear an components out fast that may have already been on their way out if that makes sense.
Cant really comment on any tuning company myself as iv not used any.
Hipe iv helped :)
cheers
