How would you like to display your Audi with the Audi Owners Club at up and coming events?
2018 show dates:
Simply Audi - Sunday 29th April. Beaulieu motor museum.
VAG Tuner Live - Sunday 8th July. Donington park Race Circuit, Castle Donington
Audis in the Park - Sunday 12 August. Deenes Park, Corby, Northamptonshire. Minimum 12 cars required.
Audi Driver International - Saturday 13th October. Castle Combe race circuit, Wiltshire. Minimum 10 cars required
If interested in displaying your Audi, just add your name to the Attendee List in Regional Meets for the show you would like to display at.

Thanks Steve...that would be really helpful.
If we can get enough numbers then we can get onto the organisers to arrange a stand area for at least 10+ cars
Cheers, Trevor
Your welcome Trevor :) il see if I can rally support :)

Nice to see you've got some good/subtle plans :)
don't know whether you've seen the info on the Audis in the park event which is happening on Sunday 13th august at Deenes park in Corby, Northamptonshire. Just wondering if you'd be interested in displaying your a6 at the event?
We have 3 members so far but need 12 for the display.

Hello Derek welcome to the forum :)
Inwould imagine (but don't quote me) that a tracker would have to be fitted by a professional so in order to be valid for the insurance company.
Also with regard to reverse cameras, many companies offer them such as kenwood and pioneer. I think it will also depend on what size screen you want and where it will fit on the dash.
It also depends on how much you want to spend. I mean for example you can get a rear view mirror monitor from Halfords for £60.
Hope that helps

No worries mate :) glad I could help in some way :)

Your best bet would be to speak to power flow as they've done previous work on your car :)
like I say part of the sound comes from the baffles in the exhaust and they can be adapted/adjusted to your taste :)

Hi Michael,
you can't go wrong with a straight through stainless system. With some companies such as power flow you can choose the sound of the exhaust to a degree as it is down to the baffles they use in the exhaust backbox.
To stay on the right side of the law and to prevent your insurance from being nil and void I would keep your cat on. It would only give you an extra 5bhp if you took it out.
Plus I would suspect if you removed the cat you would have a light come on the dash. So you would probs have to have it slightly remapped.
Hope that helps :)
cheers

It will also go on the condition of the vehicle. I.e. A poorly serviced car will not be as good as one that's never missed a service.
The remap will have more effect with other mods such as straight through stainless exhausts, upgraded manifolds, induction kit and upgraded turbo for example.
Did you have it on a rolling road before and after remap?
Cheers

Welcome to the forum :) you got any other mods on it?
Thats not bad mileage btw

I would imagine the grills are a straight swap but I'm unsure about the badge. Are you intending to fit any other s6 goodies or lower it?

Hi Steve ,
Thanks, I'm enjoying it so far. Not enjoying the lovely 24mpg though. Been driving diesels for a while so used to 40+ mpg. I have a company car so not the end of the world, that gets most of the miles put on it.
Liam
You do right putting the miles on
the company car! Let the A6 have a pampered life! ;)

Welcome to the club from a fellow newbie. Sorry to hear your having issues already.
Has your car had an oil flush? I had an issue with my diesel A6 where it said low oil pressure. Flushed the system and put in new oil and it was ok.
I believe the "oil pressure low" light and "oil level" light are different.
Hace you got a picture of your dash and light which may help the more experienced members on here?
Hope you get to the bottom of it soon.
Cheers
