  1. Sorry you feel this way Fraser. I'm sure admin will sort it :) my stickers arrived today. So il apply them once the car is back from the garage and when she's clean so I can see how they look. Il let you know how I get on :) cheers steve
  2. Your welcome :) Well thought of Dan! Tyres are very important too! Seat Leon Cupra is a fantastic car and and a great alternative :) a work colleague has a heavily modded one and it is quick (at least 160mph iv seen from his) they should be cheaper too :) oh an upgraded intercooler could be advisable ;) theres a few of us going to VAG Tuner Live on Sunday 16th July if you want to join us? Might beba good way to get some ideas :) check out the events page for more info :)
  3. Welcome to the forum :) In my honest opinion I think the a3 you've suggested has too higher mileage. You'd be better off getting one with less 100k miles and with full service history. For any track car coilovers or suspension kit is a good idea. I.e. Lowered springs with matching dampers. And uprated Brakes is recommended. All thebengine mods are correct too :) hope iv helped cheers steve
  4. Welcome to the forum :) you have a tough decision to make as both the a4 and a4 allroad are nice cars. The lowest spec a4 avant with the 218ps 3.0tdi, s tronic box and Quattro is a sport model which is approx £36,965 the cheapest a4 all-road with the 218ps 3.0tdi, s tronic box and Quattro is the trim line spec (entry level) and is £38,695. It depends if you want to spend the extra money on the allroad In my opinion the allroad has more road presence. I see a white one when I am on my way back from work and it Deffo stands out. For an extra £600 you can have the allroad body kit painted the same colour as the car if you want to make it more subtle. The allroad has more exclusivity about it and the two models iv highlighted as comparison will drive similar to be honest as the engine power and gearboxes are the same. Hope iv helped :) cheers steve
  5. Your welcome :) i did look for instructions on the internet but with no success. Cheers steve
  6. Iv got her booked in to the garage, and have put the Belgium road trip back a week or so
  7. Welcome to the forum :) my best advice would be to get a haynes manual for your a3. They're really useful to have handy! :) cheers steve
  8. Thanks all for your help :) it couldn't have come at a worse time to be honest. As I'm due to take the a6 to Belgium to see my sister who has just moved there! the a6 will be with the garage for a while I think! Its really annoying as it's only done it twice in the last 2 weeks. But that's twice too many!
  9. Welcome to the forum :) you'll find the guys and gels on here are a friendly bunch :) I'm not surprised your excited! The a7 is a lovely car. Whites a great colour for it and even better it's the black edition :) unsure about the camera but I think the folding mirror feature can be retro fitted. Cheers Steve
  10. Thanks for the reply :) what's even more bizarre is that there have been no warning lights on the dash when it happens.
  11. As the total says really. My a6 has developed an intermittent brake issue. When I apply the brakes the pedal goes nearly to the floor. It's almost as if there is low pressure. Iv never lost the brakes completely they're just not responding as normal sometimes. The brake discs and pads are fine no brake fluid leaking and brake fluid was blead and changed in March. My local garage is wondering if it's the abs pump but has anyone got any ideas? Im currently doing Russian roulette ATM as I never know when it's going to happen!
  12. Your welcome :)
  13. Welcome to the forum :) I believe when you select s no matter what mode you have it in you'll get full hp.
  14. Further info on this one, we are too late to submit an entry for a club stand as entries had to be in by the 31st March. But anyone intending to go to this?
  15. Welcome to the forum :) you'll find the guys and gels on hear are a friendly and helpful bunch :)

  22. It can't be that bad?! Id love to visit the Isle of Man! It's on the places to go list! :)
  23. I don't know but il guess! Is it maclaran?
  24. Your welcome :) glad we could help :)
  25. She'll be clean you can be sure of that! Exactly! I worry she'll stand out like a sore thumb being stock! My concern of modding the engine when it's covered such high miles is that it will effect it for the worse long term than the better. The engine has never been apart and has its original headgasket, cylinders/pistons, valves, cams etc. It's only had it's regular servicing! But have to agre would will be interesting to see what mods are available. I hoping we can get at least 5 cars for the display!
