  1. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could it be an issue with the module/ballast
  2. I'd recommend you speak to a local auto locksmith. But unfortunately modern keys are very expensive
  3. You'll need the new lights coding plus all.tge correct modules etc.
  4. Think the holes in the seals is normal
  5. Just my 2 pence worth, I know I wouldn't be risking it. I appreciate my A6 is older but it's interval is every 8 years. I certainly wouldn't go over that. So if it were mine I'd stick to 5 years. Also the £633 tive been quoted is reasonable in my opinion
  6. Stevey is the one to ask on here about this. What's the condition of the egr.

Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Think the bonnet is and the roof but not sure about the wings.
  8. Glad you got sorted In.the end. I'm sure your method will be very useful for others 👍
  9. They're bonded in, I managed to find one on eBay. Contact this chap on this listing called Julius. I've bought various bits from him for my c5. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163720125396?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=J_mXsPy2Qdi&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  10. You could try the diff or map sensor as they'll be cheaper than the egr cooler to replace
  11. If bought from a dealer then they should fix the issue FOC in the first 30 days after purchase. As you're entitled to a full refund within that time.
  12. Also I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  13. I'd always say bodywork is worth while doing to preserve the car if you like it. Sometimes eurocarparts have offers on wings etc. But I can see where the body shop are coming from regarding the car not having a lot of value and thus not doing. However I've never had a body shop say that to me, as they should not question why you want the work done unless they don't want the job?
  14. Have you checked to see if the air filter is wet at all?
  15. You might need a different wiring harness which I think you'll be able to get from kufatec.
  16. You could try paying for the service from companies on eBay.
  17. I'd go for prefacelift, get one as closer year to yours as possible. Or that's what I'd do.
  18. I'd recommend you take the door card off and see if the mechanism has jammed that way or handle come detached.
  19. The float/level sensor could be stuck I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up.

  22. Visiting the war graves in France was one of the biggest eye openers I've ever had. They must be remembered. Regarding the word thank you, people have become more selfish a Nd less likely to use manners. My great gran always said manners cost nothing.
