  1. I'd recommend getting a diagnostic check to see what fault codes flag up and go from there. What are they highlighting the issue is in the USA?
  2. Yep could be a Software issue. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Also you could do a reset on the infotainment system.
  3. Sorry to hear of your issue. You could get the imobiliser turned off on the instrument cluster. Have a look for instruments cluster repairs or imobiliser off to find companies locally that will do it for you. You could also get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  4. It sounds like the egr had been blanked off which would make me think it's been remapped to delete the egr from the cars system. Could it be a cam sensor, crank sensor? Any issues with the engine temperature?

Have a look at Celtic tuning website a s it'll show you the potential gains. Makes sure you use a reputable company that'll do the remap on a rolling road

I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It's most likely thr motor that's failed.
  7. I think it could be the door module. But a diagnostic check will show up fault codes
  8. Glad you've got partly sorted 🙂
  9. You could always try a different Audi dealer to get the issues resolved or speak to Audi customer services
  10. Keep us posted on how you get on
  11. Wowsers. You could get it booked into Audi or an Audi independent specialist who might have more sophisticated diagnostic equipment
  12. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  13. If both have burnt out I'd recommend getting the car checked by an auto electrician to make sure the wiring is ok. I don't believe they need coding
  14. Definitely worth getting the car checked professionally including fuel lines etc. When I had something similar it was my bonnet sound deadening as it fell to bits.
  15. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  16. That it's terrible luck. Is it worth looking at upgrading them?.
  17. If you've just bought it from a dealer within the last 30 days ten take it back for them to look at free of charge
  18. No probs at all. If the parts on back order it makes me wonder if it's a common fault
  19. If it doesn't have sat nav already programmed to the mmi then putting an SD card in won't just work. It needs activating at Audi.
  20. No probs at all bless ya. This is the one I've found: https://www.autotronics.co.uk/repair/services/instrument-cluster-repair?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=instrument_cluster&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-e6-BhDmARIsAOxxlxXmJjPcpBZ9CX-5GW27wCUnCoQCEFddozz7xypK7zvgr-FxybcPyZUaArcqEALw_wcB
  21. Thanks for the heads up. Glad Audi, are sorting it.
  22. Glad you got sorted 🙂 thanks for the guide 🙂
  23. It running is a positive. When running what's the engine doing? Ie rough idling, stuttering etc.
  24. Steve Q replied to ukmarine's topic in Audi A3 (8V) Forum
Would it be worth wiring it in with your day time running lights?
  25. Have you checked the high pressure fuel pump too?
