  1. Is it diesel? Could be the car doing a dpf regen.
  2. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It could be the driver's door electric switch control. Or it could be a failing comfort control module. Have your carpets get wet?
  3. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful 🙂 Autologics or Audi retrofits are supposed to be good.
  4. Great work 👍🙂
  5. No probs at all sorry I couldn't help. Hoping it'll be going to have it's donor engine installed soon 🙂 aiming to have it back running by April for simply Audi next year.
  6. Downside, if you're caught by an MOT tester then it's a fail and a fine. Even though this should be unlikely to get caught
  7. Could it be an issue with the amp?
  8. When was the gearbox oil last changed? Degrading gearbox oil in the s tronic box can affect its ability to select gears. Also does the gear selector area light up properly? I'd also recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  9. Think CVT oil should be changed every 35-40k miles so it should be in the service history. Gearbox will depend on engine and spec etc.
  10. You could try performance direct or Lancaster as well.
  11. The easiest thing would be to buy the heater control module on which includes the heated seat switches and maybe the heated seats themselves. I've looked into this for my a6 and it's proven more complicated than first thought. You'll also probably have to do some coding too. You could always speak to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them for retrofits and been happy with the results
  12. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. When was the gearbox oil last changed? Could it be a loose gearbox mount
  13. Audi UK will deny all knowledge. Look at how the emissions scandal was handled in the US vs UK
  14. The fact both keys are doing it would lead me to think there a fault with the module or imobiliser etc. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  15. Not so clued up on the 3.0 petrol unfortunately.
  16. Could be an issue with blower motor or control unit then. Might be worth getting a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  17. Your other problem is now you'll have to notify your insurance company it's been modified. The dealer who supplied the car should do this foc as the car is sold not as described. Make sure you get a good warranty from the dealer though in writing
  18. It can be done, kufatec sell the wiring harness I d suspect. They do for a lot of vag cars.
  19. Please could you take a pic of the trim and where it fits.
  20. Yep I believe it is. I know the door module controls the rest of the central locking too
  21. This could be caused by a sticking thermostat, is the engine getting up to temperature? It could be the heater matrix being blocked. Or an issue with the heater control unit.
  22. Welcome, very nice 👍
  23. Very nice colour 🙂
