  1. One from a Passat or Skoda Octavia might work.
  2. Guessing you've looked at the head gasket. It could be the egr cooler.
  3. Your best bet is to find an A3 with the same engine and year. Maybe the year either side might be ok too.
  4. You may have got lucky. You may have got a cancelled order car and you so happened to order the exact same spec/one that could be slightly altered as it was very early in build process
  5. Definitely dealer. Lead time is about a year.
  6. I'd recommend you speak to Audi to get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If it's not an issue with the car then it's an issue with the charger.
  7. Sure the connectors will be the same but light might be a different shape.
  8. That's right. Dealers register the car once it arrives as it has to go through an inspection
  9. Do you tow with the vehicle? Is it parked on a hill over night etc.
  10. Could it be an issue with an injector, cam sensor, dpf or egr.
  11. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  12. Sorry to hear that.
  13. Could it be an issue with the comfort control module which should be situated on the passenger side floor under the carpet. Especially if carpet has gotten wet.
  14. Might be connected. I know the gearbox module can fail as a worse case scenario
  15. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  16. Yep could be power steering fluid. What colour and smell is the fluid.
  17. Definitely look for second hand units. I'm shocked they both failed at the same time
  18. Very nice. Great spec and great mmi level 🙂
  19. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 yep about a year lead time
  20. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 look forward to seeing some pics to help identify it but I'm sure it's a b7.
  21. Does sound more mechanical than electrical but you could get as diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. When was the gearbox last serviced? If it's the torque converter or clutch I'd get this sorted asap.
  22. Halogen will be h7 I think. But I'd suspect it's a bi xenon though.
  23. If you can dry the connectors and run off any corrosion then you should be ok.
  24. Glad you got sorted and it was a simple fix 🙂
  25. Fingers crossed for you
