  1. For best results I'd say upgrade discs and pads. Depends how much you want to spend i guess.
  2. What are the exact faults of the cluster?
  3. Could it be the clutch and duel mass flywheel?
  4. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  5. Definitely not a defect but not entirely sure what it is.
  6. Please keep us posted on how you get on. It'll be interesting to see what the remapper says.
  7. I think the mirrors have either been painted or are the S6 versions. The wheels look like they're off a later A6 c7 in my opinion. Otherwise it looks stock.
  8. Glad you got it off, they sure like to make it difficult!
  9. If you've bought it from a dealer within the last 30 days then they have the obligation to fix any issues FOC. You could always contact them and get them to give it a check over and a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  10. As Gareth says if you've bought it from a dealer within 30 days then they have the obligation to fix it FOC. At the very least the car will need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. As it's an electrical issue it might be worth getting the battery checked as a failing battery can cause various electrical gremlins
  11. No probs, sorry I can't give you more positive news.
  12. Yea I'd say that's fairly normal. Is the engine temperature and oil temperature readings normal when driving?
  13. Think all aidis have dmf now. Even my old a6 does. Here's someone with a similar issue but there's is an auto. There problems also started after a remap. I notice their torque is less than yours but that'll partly be due to there's being an auto. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/audi-a6-40-tdi-c8-gearbox-vibration.431231/%3famp=1 I'd definitely recommend speaking to the tuning company. If it is the dmf you might need to upgrade it with an aftermarket one that's stronger, do a solid single flywheel conversion and uprated clutch. Here's an upgraded one for an example, but notice when the upgraded one can't handle over 475nm of torque whereas you're running over 500nm on the stick set up. https://clutchstop.co.uk/products/luk-dual-mass-flywheel-sachs-performance-clutch-kit-for-volkswagen-audi-seat-skoda-02q-6-speed-gearbox.html I've heard people talk about this company for upgraded clutches etc. But I don't see the A6 c8, but might be worth emailing them: https://clutch-specialists.co.uk/
  14. Glad you're pleased with it, it's great to get positive feedback on modern Audi's. Especially as most people will only come onto a forum etc when they have a problem.
  15. I'd say it's definitely a faulty sensor. I'm suspecting your q8 is still under warranty so this should be covered.
  16. Yea do the dmf shouldn't be failing. The only thing I wondering if there's too much torque ect for the current dmf and clutch. What was the max the current one can take, from the research you've done?
  17. Think the cheapest option would be to replace them with second hand units from eBay or similar.
  18. Well done for saving this S3. I'd recommend you looking at eBay for the catches. Any A3 8l ones should fit.
  19. Lovely looking car. Did you have any look at getting an A4 b5 in the end?
  20. What miles has the car done? How much bhp and torque has the car now got. I ask as the MSP might be putting too much power through it.
  21. Glad you're pleased with the map, was it done in a rolling road? Yep additives can help. Black smoke could be because of the dog maybe?
