  1. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. But could be as simple as a fly! Might be worth getting the battery tested especially if it's over 5 years old.
  2. No probs at all. See it at work all the time lol.
  3. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 sounds a good selection of mods on that.
  4. Have you sat on the key fob? The remote boot release may have been opened.
  5. Golf Mk5 or A3 8p space saver I think
  6. What's the exact problem? No signal? If so I'd be looking at the aerial as the first culprit
  7. Not started Steve. Bar that one engine rebuilder no one else has been willing to touch it. I did consider fitting a second hand engine with different engine code with matching injection pump but finding a garage who's knowledgeable on coding it all in is proving difficult. It's like no one has a clue.
  8. Just found my official nurburgring pics. Forgotten I had these! This was from last September.
  9. You've done a good amount of diagnostic work. I would agree with a level sensor. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  10. Thanks kev, did you manage to speak to your mate about a rebuild?
  11. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Or get an auto electrican to take a look as it could be a broken wire, or a failed door module
  12. It shouldn't be creaking I'd be taking it to the dealer.
  13. You could buy mesh from Halfords or similar and attach it on the back of the current grill if that makes sense.
  14. Had you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Have you taken it to the garage? Does it do it over a certain speed? Does it do it through the entire rev range?
  15. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Have you taken it back to the garage for them to have a look at
  16. Well, I'd advise speaking to Audi to see what service history they have on it. That'll give you some service history at least. But with no history, you'll need to do a full service including Cambelt and water pump change. You may as well change the thermostat whilst you're at that. Then do a gearbox oil change too.

Definitely worth trying eBay or breaker sites.
  18. If you've had these issues since you bought it, it sounds like the dealer is fobbing you off. Under consumer law items being sold should be working and for an acceptable amount of time. In the first 6 months the seller has to prove the fault wasn't there when sold. After 6 months the buyer has to prove it wasn't working.
  19. How long have you had the car? I'd definitely recommend you contact the warranty company
  20. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Could be an issue with the sensor, or control unit
  21. Have you checked to see if the rear lights fill with water? Have all the connections been checked for corrosion
  22. I'd recommend you contact an auto electrican who can test the electrics in situ. Then you could send any failed parts for further testing
