  1. I appreciate yours is a b7 but here's how to change it on a b8. Probably will be in a similar location if you've got the 2.0tdi.
  2. How old is the battery? If it's on the original battery then this could be failing and ultimately be the culprit. We've seen time and time again where failing batteries throw up all sorts of electrical gremlins including multiple ones.
  3. I think your diagnosis is about right unfortunately. You might be able to get the pump rebuilt though.
  4. Unfortunately not. Despite the coupe and sportback looking similar they do vary. That goes for the bumpers too.
  5. Q2 is based on the older A3 8v (golf mk7) chassis and as such shared a lot of components including the interior with the A3 8v that's why it looks more dated. Where's as the A3 you're looking at will be the more up to date generation (8y). Unless you're desperate for an SUV I'd go for the A3 as it's a newer design and more up to date. I've been in the q2 and it is just a jacked up A3. No extra room etc. Plus the q2 goes out of production this year. The only other benefit of the q2 is exclusivity as it's been a poor seller.
  6. If it has the s tronic auto gearbox then it should have it as standard. Otherwise I believe it it was a £65 option.
  7. I'd get this checked too if it were mine.
  8. I'd have said level.srnsir but it's obviously reading ok as there's 125 miles left. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be an issue with the cockpit.
  9. Yea no gas in the system could be your issue. As there'd be no pressure either. Might explain why the car sticks to Econ. My A6 sticks to Econ because ac doesn't work. Haven't worked for 6 years but that's the least of my problems now!
  10. Have you tried Witter? The official Audi one would be westfalia
  11. How long have you had the car? Have the sensors previously worked ok? Any recent evidence of accident repair? Obviously wires could be wrong way round but could always be a module issue. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  12. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be a selector or module issue maybe.
  13. I know on my A6 2.5tdi it's 8 years. Which has never been a problem.
  14. Oh wow, not heard of that. Don't know if I'd trust it especially when the old schedule was at 5 years. However I must admit my daily ford Kuga is 10 years 🤔
  15. Thank you 🙂 most definitely, we've had a lot of rubbish happen last year. Please keep us posted on how you get on. I do need to start working on mine.
  16. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 looks a lovely car 🙂
  17. Thank you 😊 lol, well I'm hoping I'll be able to get it back on the road asap as I want to bring my daughter along to the shows. Oh bless ya, hope you get better soon. Definitely, wife and I have been wanting children for the last 7 years.
  18. It's a common problem on older audis. Can it not be reglued?
  19. Thank you so much. Will look into them. Sorry to hear you've been ill. Hope you're recovering now? I'd suspended work on the A6 in the short term whilst I've been doing the house up and getting prepped for our new (first) arrival.
  20. No probs at all 🙂 could the control unit be faulty?
