Have a look at Celtic tuning or revo. Definitely get gearbox done at the same time. But make sure both are well serviced.

Sorry to hear this. Hope it turns up in one piece. Check all local streets within a 2-3 mile radius as it may have been dumped to see if there's a tracker.

Have you tried to remove any bungs that you've mentioned? I know the q7 suffer from this but never seen it on a b7

If it was a wheel bearing this is normally a rhythmic humming/rumbling sound which gets faster the quicker the car goes. Please keep us informed on how you get on

I agree with Cliff, get this back to the dealer you bought it from asap. I wonder if this is the reason the previous owner traded it in....

Could be a timing belt issue. What's the engine code/bhp? I ask because the older version of the engine such as AYM etc had a different head whereby if the cambelt snapped/jumped it wouldn't wreck the head/valves etc. Where as the later engines with 180bhp engine codes bsu or similar has a revised head with roller cams whereby if the cambelt snapped/jumped the pistons could smash into the valves and wreck the head.

These issues are usually linked to a failing battery but as you've had it changed I wonder if it's a wiring issue from the battery to the dash? Or an issue with the instrument cluster.

It might be worth taking it back from where it was fitted. They may have missed something.

Have you done a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Could be an issue with the high pressure fuel pump.

Just the thermostat I believe.

Can you not gain access by removing the front wheels and wheel arch liner?

You might find the wiring harness won't be compatible. Also the new one might need coding.

Regarding water in the boot, check the boot seal and lift seals to see if they're letting water in. You'll need a special convertible roof cleaner.

Sounds like it should have rear parking sensors.

Is there proof of gearbox oil changes and Quattro system services.
