  1. Is it worth getting a second opinion at an Audi independent specialist?.
  2. I wonder if the switch is working properly?
  3. I'd recommend you get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It could be an issue with the maf sensor, injector, injector seal, cam position sensor.
  4. Further research: Pun engine code was fitted to the 2.0tdi. Gearbox fitted with 3.0tdi was the oa3 gearbox which has two other codes: JHM kit (.56) uses 01E311362D and 01E311160D. The JMG transmission part numbers 0A3311352B and 0A2311362F which yield a .53 ratio. These JMG gears are less than half the price of the .56 gears.
  5. No probs at all
  6. Could be an issue with the gearbox itself.
  7. Have a look to see if Sach/Luk or darkside developments sell any aftermarket kits.
  8. Oh my goodness, glad it was caught in the nick of time!
  9. Just an update I got hold of further information regarding the engine and gearbox codes thanks to Luke Voss, a member of the A6 c7 UK club.
  10. Glad you got sorted. Do you have any idea why the wire burnt out In the first place?

Bless ya, fingers crossed it's all good
  12. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. I'd recommend looking on eBay but include international sellers
  13. As it's been caused due to an accident I'd recommend getting it checked over anyway. I wonder if a crash sensor can cut the engine?
  14. You reading my mind kev? 😉
  15. Hello all, I'm seeking advice on the 3.0tdi fwd manual out of curiosity and seems a rare car. Does anyone know what the engine codes are for this version and gearbox codes/model of 6 speed manual? Thank you for any advice or info on this model is greatly appreciated 🙂 Just trying to increase my knowledge base.
  16. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Sby warning lights on the dash? Anything in the engine bay dislodged that could be getting squashed when bonnet is closed?
  17. You're welcome, please keep us posted on how you get on ☺️
  18. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Definitely get all hoses checked relating to the turbo.
  19. Could it be injector issue or injector seal issue? Or a lambda sensor issue.
  20. What ever Audi claim take 10mpg off those figures for a more realistic idea. Adblue is just another fluid to fill into a separate tank every 1000 miles or so. Adblue system problems are documented which Include issues with the level sensors, pumps etc. The hybrid part will benefit you round town. Plus it'll mean it'll be ulez compliant I think. Do t forget to check buyers guides on YouTube.
  21. Just letters I believe.
  22. I've had a similar problem with my A6. In order for an engine to work it needs to have the matching ECU, injection pump. If it's not the same engine code it'll need to be coded to the current injection pump. As the injection pump, ECU and instrument cluster are all linked with the imobiliser. Or that's at least the case with my older A6. If you find someone who can do the engine swap and it's not the same engine code then please let me know
  23. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  24. Gareth does raise a good point and to add, have you checked the plug socket in/on the house that you use?
  25. This seems unusual but also not surprising when you look at similar failures with other ev batteries and motors.
