  1. You're most welcome, glad you got sorted 😊
  2. Definitely looks good
  3. Bose would be listed in that list, also Bose labels will be on the speakers.
  4. Is this the new one? Looks lovely
  5. You need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up to find the route cause.
  6. That's odd it's not fixed the issue. After all that work my guess would be a sensor. You might need a more advanced diagnosis from Audi or similar. Was the egr replaced with an aftermarket one or genuine Audi? Is there a chance this or the solenoid could be faulty?
  7. Thanks for keeping us updated
  8. If you've bought this from a dealer in the last 30 days then it's for them to fix free of charge if it's not been sold as described. As you're entitled to a full refund in the first 30 days after sale.
  9. Is it linked to an engine breather I wonder? Do you have any pics?
  10. Yep they should fit. Best way of checking if you're in a position to is trial fit one before you buy them.
  11. So glad you got sorted 🙂
  12. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  13. You'll need to go into Audi or type your reg on a parts store online to find the correct part number. As it'll depend if it's Bose, or standard Audi one etc. If you've just bought it from a dealer in the last 30 days then it's their responsibility to fix it free of charge as you're entitled to a full refund in the first 30 days after sale
  14. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  15. Does sound like a megatronics unit unfortunately
  16. Great stuff, please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  17. You're welcome, glad you got sorted 🙂
  18. My bet would be the alarm too. The only way to find it would be to trave the wires from the fusebox. This should be obvious as they'll look different to the rest of the stock loom. Unfortunately these aftermarket alarms can be a problem. If you get a chance watch the old top gear challenge with the 3 series convertibles. Hamonds one had a similar problem.
  19. You'll need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up but my guess would be a failed sensor or failing module
  20. If there's a problem with the car then yes.
  21. I agree with Gareth keep us posted on how you get on
  22. Sorry my bad it's what I interpreted from your original post. Apologies
  23. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  24. If the deal seems too good to be true it probably is. The 2.0 tfsi is notorious for oil consumption and eating piston rings. The only cure is an engine rebuild.
