  1. I know how this feels. Struggling to get an ATM engine for my a6. Think I've found the part for yours on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265719362992?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=eSZhemAaTsq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363417812984?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=1ZRwnIgIRTy&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=IE07kO4STZy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  2. Sorry to hear of your situation. I'd recommend having a Google for independent Audi specialists in your area.
  3. Apologies I'd missed that you've already contacted the dealer. Funnily enough I've been discussing a similar situation regarding modern car electronics failing and not being replaceable. The manufacturers enjoy building in obsolescence. I'm wondering if the cheapest option for you is to fit an aftermarket head unit with android auto etc.
  4. Think you'll need the identical one so you don't run into issues with coding. This is the issue I've got with my old c5.
  5. No probs at all 🙂
  6. Thanks kev 🙂
  7. Sorry to hear that. What work have they done on it?
  8. Please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  9. Yep I'd recommend getting it done asap.
  10. Keep us posted on how you get on
  11. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Or definitely speak to Audi to see if they have in fact stopped the update.
  12. I'd suspect it's a sensor. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  13. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. But could be as simple as a fly! Might be worth getting the battery tested especially if it's over 5 years old.
  14. No probs at all. See it at work all the time lol.
  15. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 sounds a good selection of mods on that.
  16. Have you sat on the key fob? The remote boot release may have been opened.
  17. Golf Mk5 or A3 8p space saver I think
  18. What's the exact problem? No signal? If so I'd be looking at the aerial as the first culprit
  19. Not started Steve. Bar that one engine rebuilder no one else has been willing to touch it. I did consider fitting a second hand engine with different engine code with matching injection pump but finding a garage who's knowledgeable on coding it all in is proving difficult. It's like no one has a clue.
  20. Just found my official nurburgring pics. Forgotten I had these! This was from last September.
  21. You've done a good amount of diagnostic work. I would agree with a level sensor. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  22. Thanks kev, did you manage to speak to your mate about a rebuild?
  23. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Or get an auto electrican to take a look as it could be a broken wire, or a failed door module
  24. It shouldn't be creaking I'd be taking it to the dealer.
