  1. I'd definitely recommend a harder compound tyre. I had the same with continental tyres on my ford Kuga daily.
  2. Consumer law states that a product has to work for a reasonable amount of time. If a product fails before 6 months it is deemed that the defect was there at the time of purchase and as such it's responsibility of the seller to prove otherwise. After 6 months it's the other way around. Definitely have a Google of consumer law for more details. It could be the rear window seal, boot seals. Here's a fellow member who had the same issue:

I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up Could be the control module or resistor at a guess.
  4. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  5. If it's a built in one and not SD card or disc then only option is dealer unfortunately
  6. How odd, can't say I've come across any other cases of this.
  7. You'll need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Vag cars are known for issues with the level sensor problem
  8. Thanks mate, please let me know how much your mate will charge and what he includes 🙂
  9. Nice one. If front end has to come off, it might be worth looking at getting thermostat done too if it's had to access like mine!
  10. Upgraded head units with apple car play or android auto might be best. Might be worth speaking to autologics. Alternatively you could pick up one from eBay.
  11. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  12. It might be worth speaking to demon tweeks or similar companies that deal with silicone hoses.
  13. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 I'd recommend watching YouTube videos and buyers guides. Service history is key, should be full. Check for evidence of oil changes on gearbox and quattro system. With quattro make sure tyre brands/tread match on the same axle as uneven tyre wear can damage the quattro system. Make sure all electrical items work as these can be expensive to change.
  14. I agree with Gareth you need a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  15. Yep.they can be replaced. Check eBay or I found this link. I've never used them though. Budget £20-40 for replacement https://www.wingmirrorman.co.uk/wing-mirror-indicators/audi-wing-mirror-indicators/audi-a3-wing-mirror-indicators/audi-a3-2012-2020-wing-mirror-indicators/audi-a3-2012-2016-wing-mirror-indicators/audi-a3-hatchback-2012-2016-wing-mirror-indicators
  16. No probs at all. You'd be surprised. Does depend on driving style though
  17. Could be a thermostat. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  18. Could it be from the suspension? Has it got air suspension?
  19. That sounds about right to me. You could always get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up.
  20. It'll cost £600-900 from a garage to change the Cambelt and water pump. Definitely cheaper than a replacement engine which will cost you at least 3-5k.
  21. It'll be expensive to upgrade the screen. Regarding the SD card it doesn't have to be a 2015 one.
  22. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  23. I appreciate my A6 is a lot older but similar rules should apply. You might find the instrument cluster and ECU will need coding to the new engine
  24. As I say that's the weight of a S4 gearbox. If it weighs heavy enough it needs two people to carry it then you might struggle finding a courier service who will take it.
