  1. It's been 25 years of the A2! To celebrate, Audi has reinvented the model with a striking new look – and electric power ⚡️ https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/audi-a2-e-tron-revealed-ev-reworking-hypermiling-hatchback
  2. Ha e you managed to confirm it's the cable and not a fault with the car?
  3. No probs at all please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  4. Well it's not good if Audi don't know. I'm still thinking you can't from the previous research I've done
  5. Welcome to the new Q6 section. Feel free to post your queries, advice and tips here 🙂
  6. I could be wrong. And I'd definitely recommend speaking to Audi to doubly confirm.
  7. Glad it's still working as it should 2 years on 🙂
  8. Glad you had a positive experience and got sorted 🙂
  9. This seems to suggest a boot handle (Item 2) problem. These are electric, not mechanical, and it seems it is not communicating with the lock assembly. Also water can get into the motor and lock it up. You could try getting two people to help. One to mess with the cable and one to lift the boot lid. Then replace the motor if that seems wrecked from water. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up and check the fuses.
  10. I dont think you can. From the info I've got from Audi: When the ignition is switched off, the UTR automatically switches to "Parking mode", in which the vehicle is monitored by radar and G-Sensor. If a person approaches your vehicle or if your vehicle experiences a physical impact, the camera is activated and records the action in a short video. When the Audi Universal Traffic Recorder (UTR) is in Parking mode, it monitors the car's battery and energy requirements and turns off when the limit is reached. This helps to conserve the battery and keep the car operational. The UTR records a 20-second sequence if it detects motion or vibrations in front of the radar sensors. If the recording is triggered by vibrations, it's saved in the "Event" folder on the SD card. If it's triggered by motion, it's saved in the "Parking" folder. The UTR is a recording device with a full HD camera that can be installed in the front or rear of an Audi. The UTR App can be used with the UTR to manage data, live view, adjust the recorder's settings, and use the car finder function.
  11. I've had a look online too and struggled to get answers. Theres always the chance the 2nd hand switch is defective. Think it'd be worth you getting it looked at by an auto electrician.
  12. Make sure all electrical items work. Make sure carpets either front or rear aren't damp as water ingress is common and can't damage the ccm. Make sure gearbox changes are smooth.
  13. Have you tried Audi retrofits or autologics? As members have used them for retrofits and been happy with the results

    E-Tron Recall

    Glad it's got sorted
  15. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Definitely try eBay, car and classic and even Facebook marketplace. But with Facebook marketplace or eBay don't hand over any cash without seeing the car as there's a lot of scams.
  16. Truthfully I've never used the aftermarket ones as I'm only used to ones built in as standard.
  17. You're welcome. Steve raises a good point about the dpf cooler. He's very knowledgeable on the c7 as he ran one for years.
  18. Yep it could be the amplifier. But I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  19. Looks good keep us posted how you get on
  20. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  21. As it's 10 years old you could start getting additional bills. I'll assume it's diesel and as such the other big bills down the line could be injectors, dpf, egr and turbo.

    E-Tron Recall

Glad it's been sorted. Did they say why the heater needed to be changed. The flexy hoses is a worry too. Too old for a courtesy car?! Surely that's a hate crime on age grounds? Against the human rights act 1998 and equality act 2010.
  23. Thanks for coming back to us. Please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  24. This is how you change it: 2.5 Renewing bulb for dipped beam head‐ lights Removing – Switch off ignition and take out ignition key. – Turn light switch to position “0”. – Remove appropriate front wheel. – Remove relevant front wheel housing liner ⇒ Rep. gr. 66 . – Loosen locking bolt -1- a few turns. – Release retaining tabs -arrows- and detach housing cover for dipped beam headlights from headlight housing. Audi A8 2003 ➤ Electrical system - Edition 08.2014 132 Rep. gr.94 - Lights, bulbs, switches - exterior But you can take the bumper off and headlight out if you wish. Pictures for reference to show what it looks like behind the wig and bumper etc.
  25. Get it back to the garage you bought it from asap. You have the right to a full refund in the first 30 days of sale. The garage should also fix any issues free of charge in that time frame also.
