  1. No probs. Check service history. Especially for Cambelt changes. Dpf and egrs are the expensive things that can fail.
  2. I did it for peace of mind. Regular oil changes/flushes etc. I was doing minimum once a year. More if I were doing road trips. Got to get my engine rebuilt now.
  3. Where abouts is it located? Would it be easier to remove the bumper?.
  4. At least you don't have to worry about child seats now. I'd recommend you test a 3 door with them. Head room might be more of an issue long term.
  5. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Or do a factory reset on the head unit
  6. It could be the fan or motor. Could balso try a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  7. I'd recommend you look at getting a stainless steel straight through exhaust. Powerflow are reasonable and I know people who have used them and been pleased with the results
  8. I'd recommend you speak to autologics or Audi retrofits but it won't be cheap.
  9. I'd recommend you speak to someone with a coder or auto electrican
  10. Could be a fault with the button. Might be worth getting this changed.
  11. It probably has been done at factory it's a very expensive option
  12. Cam sensor or crank sensor? Have you done a diagnostic check?
  13. Radio is known issue. And theres currently no fix. But I'd recommend you speak to Audi to see if there's an update etc.
  14. I think there's limited options. You might be better with a dash or windscreen mounted one.
  15. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Could be turbo issue. But white smoke could be head gasket but I'm guessing
  16. You might find the 3 door and convertible door is longer than the 5 door so I'm doubtful the armrest would fit
  17. Could there be an issue with the handle? I know older Audi's can suffer from a similar issue
  18. 3.0tdi is a good engine. Look out for timing chain rattle and the injectors can have issues. There's also the 2.7tdi in the c6 you could consider which is similar to the 3.0tdi. Check service history. Also have a look at YouTube buyers guides.
  19. Have you don't a diagnostic check? It could be an imobiliser issue or fuel pump issue.
  20. Id recommend you contact an auto locksmith.
  21. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂
  22. The batteries if they go wrong can cost up to 8-10k at least I believe.
  23. Looks a lovely car. The joys of an old Audi is that they end up with electrical gremlins mainly.
  24. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up?
