  1. Following on from Gareth's sound advice you could also get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up as it could be an issue with the light switch or indicator stalk.
  2. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. When was the gearbox last serviced?
  3. Please keep us posted on how you get on
  4. Id recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. When was the gearbox last serviced? It might be worth looking at gearbox oil change to see if that makes it smoother.
  5. My concern here is why ha e you had to pay for the Audi software. Surely as an Audi specialist they should have this already, or make the investment voluntarily. Technically you've invested in the business as they can use that software on other cars too.
  6. I know someone did this on the A1 club. Might be worth checking eBay. As I dread to think what Audi will charge
  7. Definitely follow Gareth's advice first and try and access from.underneath the car. But I wont be surprised if you have to go in via the grill.
  8. Exactly lots of owners in short succession is often a sign of a problem with the car. Definitely avoid
  9. I appreciate where you're coming from but if you get engine failure or piston ring failure it'll cost more. You'd be better off either a diesel. Like a 1.9 VW pd for reliability
  10. Id recommend getting Audi to take a look at it for peace of mind if nothing else
  11. You might have to break the grill to gain access to it.
  12. I'm going to advise against this. The 2.0tfsi is known for piston ring failures and engine failures. Research it on here and on Google.
  13. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 looks a lovely car. And Scotland is beautiful. I did the nc500 4 years ago and loved it. Sorry to hear you've had problems.
  14. Glad it's looking not as bad as first thought.
  15. Usually the issue is the wiring to the seatbelt airbags, have you checked this.
  16. Yes I'd say so. Better safe than sorry for any auto gearbox.
  17. Have you tried eBay?
  18. Unfortunately you're right
  19. You could try eBay. Or contact autoglass or Similar. But it won't be covered under your insurance though.
  20. Has it got a private plate? Or has it been imported from Japan or elsewhere? Private plates don't show up properly on tfl. I'm 95% certain it won't be compliant. To prove it you'll have to contact VW for a certificate of conformity.
  21. It may depend on spec rather than engine. IE is it an se, s line, sport etc. has it got a tech pack etc.
  22. Never seen this before. Has the car got double glazing?
  23. I will be doubtful it's compliant as it's diesel. I think it's a8 D4 facelifts with the 4.2 that's exempt. A petrol d3 you'd have a better chance.
  24. Why would they question you?! My older a 6 has a similar interior colour (platinum grey) and it's lovely.
