  1. Read the small print. These warranties aren't worth the paper they're written on most of the time. You might be better off speaking to Audi for extended warranties.
  2. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  3. Keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  4. Thanks for that very useful update 😊 glad you got sorted 👍
  5. Well I go from my experience on my old A6. I have blue smoke on start up. It's not glowplugs as they've been changed and no fault codes so in my case I think it's the injector seals. Either way it sounds it could be expensive and a long drawn out project.
  6. Please follow the link for Audi option code pdf: https://www.bezwypadkowy.net/media/kunena/attachments/63/audi-option-codes.pdf
  7. Think n5d is a beige leather if I'm not mistaken? This link has numerous Audi codes which might help: https://www.bezwypadkowy.net/media/kunena/attachments/63/audi-option-codes.pdf
  8. I wouldn't trust the sellers reason for selling. Service history is key on any German car. German cars get cheaper to buy the older they get but maintenance costs always remain expensive. Could blue smoke be injector seals? Either way I think you'll be looking at a lot of repair bills in the not too distant future which is why I think the seller is selling. Has the gearbox been serviced? As the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true it most often is!
  9. What does it say online? Audi will be vague as they know a lot of cars are coming to dealers without various bits of kit such as certain headlights etc and blaming it on the chip shortage
  10. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Not sure what the figures should be for the cam or crank sensors. Another thought isn't there a fuel pump module? Could this be at fault?
  11. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 sorry for the delay in replying to your post.
  12. Think they're fobbing you off. I had this with a ford dealer fobbing me off and had to take my ford daily to a different dealer in the end. I'd recommend you speak to Audi customer services
  13. Sounds good. Hopefully it'll prolong any dpf issues for you.
  14. My two potential theories is that it is the heater matrix. Or the one thing you've not considered is a failing expansion tank cap. The seal can fail causing the water to escape. Also check the expansion tank for leaks around any joins in the plastic.
  15. My advice would be to contact Audi Germany directly. It's bad Audi hq in Milton Keynes was unwilling to help
  16. That's an annoying experience with Audi. I find going into the dealer often gets a better experience
  17. Feel free to come along to some of the major shows if you wish? 🙂
  18. eBay or autotrader is probably your best bet.
  19. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Have you had the tracking checked?
  20. Not easy to fit. You'll need the lights, modules and Maybe the wiring harness. Then it'll need to be coded to the car. My advice would be to speak to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them for retrofits and been happy with the results
  21. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 sounds a lovely a7, it just goes to show good things come to those who wait 👍
