What is the fault code when they plug in to vcds ?

Did you notice oil level dropping between services ? . 3.0tdi like any other engine will "sweat" especialy around turbo and back and back of the engine...

For me this cradle is not original . Never seen anything like this ob a6 c6 .

Factory fittet tow bar was Westfaila and it was automaticly retracted from under the car by a button in the boot. As part of the wirring there was a extra module that controls tow bar and integrates with the rest of the car , ei swithing rear sensors off etc

Shadowline was an option, looks nice Rest is part of sline trim 🙂

Also if you do see the car with phone bluetooth you need to reset and delete all paired devices in mmi.it has max memory of 3 phones so it might be full

Try using the phone bluetooth to search for devices. If yoy cannot see the car it means you dont have bt module. On a6 c6 there were 2 options , motorola phone that sits in the armrest with you would put in your sim card or bt module to pair any phone.

Take it to kwikfit. They got mine sorted in 20 min for 31£ . They will advise you if it can be repaired

It is possible. Usualy ppl buy steel cheap rims for winter tyres so they dont get damaged by salt etc or curbed on icy roads , at least that is very common in europe :). What size are the tyres ?

The only thing i can hear is squeek from the belt that probaly needs replacing. Rrcomendation is to change every 60k or 5years with ever comes first .and if you do belt then water pump as well :) Rest seems fine
