Was the audi dealer who changed the cam belt ?

Facelifted a6 c6 :) On your video the aircon paned didnt not start up when you switched on the car , no temp displayed or any of the led in the buttons . Can regulate temperature and fan speed ? The noise soulds like an aircon on high speed

Go to a local garage , most of them charge 30£ for pluging in diagnostics

Go back where you had the cambelt fitted, looks like they messed someting up

Yep the D is default . There is a way to change the default setting but requires codding via vcds

Cam belt is 80k or 5 years . If there is no evidence of when the last change was done i would advise to chane it Retrofit ami will cost you around £300

Jet wash no. Rince off should be fine. Look up on youtube there is lots of videos how to clean engine bay

Carista and obdeleven will show faults not much else Whats wrong with your a6?

Original ross tech cable cost around £300. You could try a £20 clone from amazon with will work (finger crossed) lol Also there is carista or obdeleven but its very limited to reading faults only

It is possible. But you may need to change or code the existing rear door module for the puddle lights to work as they should do

I just checked my dashcam and there is something there :) -
There is plenty of yt videos . The rule is you want to protect the new paint as long as possible. So a nano coat like ceramic coat or others will work well
