  4. On mine the plug going in to the morot was faulty . £7 for the new plug in audi and i changed myself. Start with that as the harrnes is a real pain to change

  7. Chain and tensioners is a £1500+job so i dont think so . Chain is located at the back of the engine so it needs to come out. Google or youtube chain rattle on a6 , there is a very destinctive sound if its happening . Usually starts with 2-3 seconds rattle on engine start , then it gets worse and constant
  8. Normally chain is not part of the service schedule and only will be worked on if there is a problem

  10. 2.7 and 3.0 units have chain . BMK engine can suffer from top tensioners issues and chain rattle . This was fix in ASB engines (second part of 2006) and redesigned in facelifted version CDYA

  12. Both faults are intermitent and will not cause any issues . Clear them out and see if any will came back after a day of driving .

  14. Reset the error codes and do another scan . If they intermitent and wont come back then you have nothibg to worry about . If they will come back post here fault code numbers

  19. This works only on facelifted models and requires coding It can be done on pre facelift but requires door modules change and coding
  20. No. The 30 pin cable needs to be unplugged from the ami in the glowbox and replaced with the one in the picture
  21. AMI - audi music interface. Its where your iphone/ipad cable is plugged in in the car .   22. If you have ami then you can get an usb bluetooth reciver that will conect via ligthning cable to your car . It will let you stream music
