On mine the plug going in to the morot was faulty . £7 for the new plug in audi and i changed myself. Start with that as the harrnes is a real pain to change

Chain and tensioners is a £1500+job so i dont think so . Chain is located at the back of the engine so it needs to come out. Google or youtube chain rattle on a6 , there is a very destinctive sound if its happening . Usually starts with 2-3 seconds rattle on engine start , then it gets worse and constant

Normally chain is not part of the service schedule and only will be worked on if there is a problem

2.7 and 3.0 units have chain . BMK engine can suffer from top tensioners issues and chain rattle . This was fix in ASB engines (second part of 2006) and redesigned in facelifted version CDYA

Both faults are intermitent and will not cause any issues . Clear them out and see if any will came back after a day of driving .

No , dealer has nothing to do with you using vag com cable

Reset the error codes and do another scan . If they intermitent and wont come back then you have nothibg to worry about . If they will come back post here fault code numbers

If you have ami then you can get an usb bluetooth reciver that will conect via ligthning cable to your car . It will let you stream music
