I had same dilema... kwik fit quoted me over £1000 255/35/19 I went to my usual place where i fix my car and the guy recomended budget tyres for £300 ( inc fitting and balance ) i wasnt keen on budget tires first but after reading online i went for them. 6 months after they still as new with very low noise and good mpg .   10. To recode with a VAGCOM Single Door Unlock 46 – Cent Convenience 07 - Recode The single door unlock give an even number i.e. 00064. To make all the doors unlock with one press, just add 1 i.e. 00065
  11. First get a vcds scan done for any faults. It could be a faulty sensor ... .   12. When the car on try to search witj your phone for bluetooth devices . If it not on the list then you dont have bluetooth modul installed
  13. You can change that by pressing CAR/central locking. It lets you chose what door to opens
  14. You could swap for s6 callipers and disks and try ebc red stuff pads
  15. You might be better off buying a ami blutooth dongle and stream music from your phone or like it was said before usb stick
  16. Egr is a good start i think as it may cause other faults
  17. Green menu needs to be enabled using vcds cable But im supprised as its a factory fit that is not working. You do need to chose your sourse first to use aux
  18. Have you got mmi2g or 3g ?
  19. Whem my battery was failing it showed up lots of errors and fault codes. It might be worth looking in this direction Also it might be worth connecting to rosstech vag com cable and scan at a local garage to see if any fault codes have come back since.

  22. I run a budget £350 for 4 tyres on 19" rims for over year now , no issues at all and minimum wear

  24. Use phone bluetooth to look for the car not the other way around. It worked for me
