Hi, I was invited to go to the launch of a new dealership and the unveiling of the new model A8l. I was very impressed with the new dealership "Oldham Audi, Manchester" a fine facility, with welcoming and friendly staff. The workshops are transparent and immaculate and most of all I got to see this beauty! What does everyone think of the new model?

There's a Hilton in the same car park yay!

What I find particularly this is he picked an x-type in gold of all things. I'm thinking Pontiac judging by the advert 😜

Haha now I would normally have a few beers at that time but I'll give it a miss on Sunday, where will you guys be getting breakfast from?

I also have a 2-3 hr drive, but sadly no ducks to play with so I'll be able to meet wherever we decide for 8am. Rockingham sounds good to me, I know where it is but not exactly where your thinking of meeting so i agree a screen shot of google with a circle on it would be a fantastic help! I'm really looking forward to this event now, should be an awesome day out.

Say no more, i have the same issue, but mines only 14 and 4 lol. I currently have an X-cube2 running at 80w with a Choc/strawberry mix at 6mg that I make myself that seems to keep my little darlings at bay, well that and a good pair of noise cancelling Bose headphones 🤗

Hi Paul, It took me a while to find the right kit and liquid to manage to quit the cigs altogether, but when i did (two years ago) I've never looked back, I feel much healthier and can breathe better plus my house and car no longer smell, its so worth sticking with. The r80 isn't a bad piece of kit but lacks a little in output, what wattage are you vaping at? Since the govermant brought out its new laws there isn't as much choice available tankwise, I think this will drive a lot of people back to cigarettes. What does eveyone think about the new laws?

Hi Trevor, For me the design is great, I'd prefer it if the top sticky layer were removeable too so it just left the decal behind and not the clear surround, maybe serveral colour options too like white, black, chrome etc. What does everyone else think? 😎

OOps I'm sorry Steve, My comment wasn't because I was upset, it was more a failed attempt at sarcastic humour 😳I didn't mean to offend anyone. I'm going to try mine by applying them with a hairdryer to see if they blend into the glass any better. In all seriousness tho I believe theres a better way to do them, although it would definitely cost more. Why not mention to the admin and get them to run a poll to see how people feel about cost / quality? I have attached a picture of the "Nissan Primera Owner Club sticker below to give you an idea what I was thinking. When my car's clean and I apply mine, I'll let you know with a pic how I get on with the hairdryer idea. Sorry again 😳.

I agree totally, Mine arrived a few days ago and I can't bare to apply them to the vehicle, they just look too un-Proffesional. They'd be ok if they were going on a Lada or similar 😋

I have a collegue who upgraded from a TFV 8 to a TFV 12, he says he cant notice that much difference between the two, but if your not already used to a TFV tank, you will be impressed with the 12 I think.

HI there and welcome, Waiting is a killer, I had to wait a week to collect mine and it was awful 🤢 I nearly went insane. Hope the A3 is all you want it to be! Fraser.

Good morning all, I have now collected my A8L 2016 and this morning chose to set it up. I installed a data sim into the sim slot and got that working, I connected my IPhone via blootooth no problem. All the features of the Audi connect are working correctly bar one issue. I had to create and account online for audi connect services eg. Google map destination transfer to car etc. This was no issue all went well until the web site gave me an eight digit pin to enter into the car. I did this and the car says 'incorrect code entered' or something similar. I've tried several times but no luck. Does anyone have any advise or come across this before? 🤔

WOW you get the heckles too then? 😷 I don't feel so alone now haha! I also gave up 3 years ago with vaping, it was the only thing that came close to helping, regardless what they heckle I don't give a tos* 🤑 I tried 2x interesting flavours before I started mixing, both nice, they were 'Alien !Removed!' and 'MILF's Milk' OMG! Hi Steve, Yeah, mine has the factory TV option and the comfort arm rest with AC controls and also I think the aperture for the rear entertainment controls but I get it the seats would be a real pain. I didn't know if the harnesses are the same, making it plug and play or not. But I believe the system is wireless, I have been talking to audi about it today and they say it cant be done, but he didn't sound convinced while he was saying it lol. Looking forward to the info your going to post.

Hi Steve, Yeah totally agree there, I believe this car, with its options was circa £82,000 12 months ago, I got it for £36,500 bargain!! I know I'm still in the massive depreciation zone but I'm hoping to loose only £15k over the next 4-5 years, if thats the case I'll be happy enough. Thanks for the approving comments by the way.

Good morning everyone, I have just purchased my first audi ever! It's a 2016 A8L 3.0 tdi SE Executive with comfort seats. My burning question is: Is it possible to retro fit options that were not initially ordered by the original owner, the 2 items I am most interested in are Rear seat entertainment Night vision assistant. 21" Rotor alloys - currently has 18" I get if that if these are available, they would be a dealer fit and therefore expensive, but I was just wondering if the cars were pre-wired or not, cheers Fraser.
