  1. Hi Piotr, that's my thoughts .
  2. Hi Steve, mine still attached to the windscreen, you can have that if you wish . When do you need it by?.
  3. I think all our Audi's were cars of the day, however I choose this one!
  4. Paul A6 , we had the Chinese. .
  5. Certainly the best different Audi of the day. The dark blue RS6 won it for me.
  6. Great day ladies and gentlemen, looking to the next great event . Many thanks Edd and Evie
  7. Just realised on the wrong side of M27
  8. Hi Rob , just arrived at Rowhams buddy .
  9. Good morning all, who else is joining me at Rowhams services about 07:00-07:15? .
  10. I've got a spare sticker in my glove box, along with the entry tickets inside a rather clean 2010 A6 Avant Le mans.
  11. HI again Paul, this is correct, a little clip needs levering out either end to release the little cup from the ball , good idea to apply a little WD40 tonight incase they're a little dry.!!!👍👍
  12. Hi Paul , I'll give you a hand tomorrow .
  13. Hi , as with a large proportion of Audi customers including myself who have had this less that adequate EA189 NOX update carried out the problems can vary , but one seems to appear quite regularly and that is the cooling fan/fans running after the engine has stopped. Normally if your vehicle has or is in the middle of a DPF regeneration the fans run on for roughly 5 mins after engine stops to cool the engine bay as things get rather toastie . EGR problems seem to occur also , loss of power , engine sounds less refined. You won't get all that far with Audi as a few will lay testament to. A remap would probably put your Audi back to original ish state. Sorry to respond with this long essay. Kind regards Edd.
  14. Rob , thank you for this very comprehensive list . I think timings are pretty much spot on, unless anyone else can see anything that could hinder this. I will see you at Rowhams at 07:00. Cheers all.
  15. Hi folk's, I'm happy which ever way really, tbh the old DPF needs a good cooking so i'll adjust accordingly .
  16. That's a shame Paul, either way we'll all be at Beaulieu so happy days
  17. Hi Steve , 07:15-07:30 sounds spot on if everyone's ok with that. Maybe time for that all important coffee to wake up
  18. Ok then folks , what time are we meeting at the services then ??
  19. Couldn't agree more chaps , this weather's getting silly , never mind the tickets are in the glove box ready !! . Looking forward to seeing you all again , it should be a giggle !!. Also is that a definite we should all meet at the services before as someone has suggested? That would be great to get a big Audi convoy attacking the New Forest! !
  20. Welcome Wayne T , sadly this situation is happening across the UK and no doubt elsewhere in Europe. It also appears to be a lottery with some Audi's being successfully updated and others like yourself not so , it maybe worth mentioning that the 1.6 tdi seems more prone than the 2.0 tdi to problems judging by the feedback in the club. And like yourself in also had the wool pulled over my eyes too thinking it was the right action for the great of good ! .A remap to stage 1 seems the answer to correct this debacle being the general thoughts of most. Good luck with your quest and keep us posted buddy.
  21. Hi Paul , really good idea. I've already printed mine off unfortunately but thanks for the heads up.
  22. Good evening all on this fine boxing day evening,I thought I'd mention that I've just purchased my ticket for myself and my daughter regards the Beaulieu Audi event in April 2018
  23. Happy Xmas Sleepy Steve!!, I believe this is a picture of many of us about the same time after Christmas dinner!!!!😀😀😀
  24. Cheers Paul , all the best buddy.
