  1. thanks very much for the advice Dan, I will do after the 14th (30 days from renewal) Are you the same chap who advises on the MX5OC forum? will PM later if you can tell me how; there is no pm button that I can see
  2. all good advice but I am amazed at the difference for "alegedly" the same service. I've used Saga on & off for many tears & usually find they will, if not match, get close to most others & the Saga service is always brilliant in times of need (not for a few years now thankfully)
  3. hi folks, just thought I'd share my insurance renewal experience so far!!! Had the car 4 months so not insred for a full year yet. I'm sure everyone has a story to tell but this is mine so far. I am currently with Saga who will not quote more than 30 days from policy end; the rest I just lied about the renewal date but the figures are correct. One of the quotes was for over £1000 but I was laughing so much I forgot to note which company Has anyone got any recommendations or am I on a good dea for a 70 year old? CAR INSURANCE Ins. 11. Hi Buck welcome to the clan; good fun in an Audi isn't it? I had the same problem. my ipod is little old 4Gb. would not connect so now I plug it in via the aux in by the handbrake. locate it with the cd button. works perfectly. Only downside is it had to be charged first or connected to a usb for power. that's my experience anyway, someone may be along with a better option.
