Hi All Is there anyone that can change the set up for my car? I’d like to fully utilise the front camera and sensor by turning on the lane assist and all other config that requires a front facing camera. Ive got high beam assist which uses the front camera I think? also have Audi pre sense on the front at least which hits the breaks a little too quick. Anyone in Berkshire or surrounding areas - even West London that can help or point towards a reputable person or garage would be great. Thanks.

Hi All, bought myself a Q5 s-line a few months ago. Best car I’ve ever owned. I’m currently only disappointed in the false claim re: MPG as it’s not achievable! its a 190bhp 2.0 diesel. It achieves approx 420 miles per tank ( full tank upto reserve - not to total empty) Mid 30’s per gallon of fuel instead of low 50’s. And I drive sensibly. Apart from that. Love the car.

They were on but really dim. Turned up the welcome lights via the MMI. STILL LOW LIGHT WHEN ON HIGH! So buying the Audi upgraded LED puddle lights.

iPhone 8+ fits perfectly.

I’ve gone with the easy option and using the rear 12v power outlet and the nextbase cam. Works a treat and can’t be seen through the tinted rear window. Happy daze

I’ve got RAC full cover - collect me and anyone in any vehicle that I am in, take us home or to a garage etc. I’ll be using ‘ride on’ in all 4 tyres, similar but apparently better than slime. Tyre repair guys are meant to prefer it when repairing a puncture as it’s easier to clean up after they take the tyre off the rim : ) dont think I will be using Audi’s own tyre repair canister that’s in the boot with the Audi tyre inflator

I’ve found original Audi Q5 generation 2 mats for £100; both front & rear. Result

Hi Trevor, thanks for the reply. I’d rather use the app that has access to the tracker in my car. I’ll call them tomorrow for a final answer from a technical person rather than their helpdesk reps. Seems silly to have a faculty to monitor each and every journey, (times and routes taken) as well as the speed and not be able to use it myself.

Hi Steve, ebay has the mkII mats but they cost more via the stealer on eBay than via Audiparts. I’ll have a peek at halfords but will probably choose the Audi ones that are embossed with Q5.

Hi Paul and Steve, Thank you for the replies. After thinking about David’s reply I am going to contact the dealer and get written permission to have the dashcams hardwired into the fuse box after I get that approval which then can’t be reneged on, I’ll choose out of the Thinkware & Blackvue options as they seem to be the best 👍🎯🏆

I’ve not had any problems as yet. Sounds like a nightmare!

Hi David, Thank you for the reply i appreciate the offer and will use hardwired cams in the future I can’t have the camera’s hardwired in as yet because the dealership have advised it will void my warranty unless it is the Audi UTC front and rear set hardwired to the fuse box Thats £350 for the cams and £150 for the wiring they want to take off me I’m holding back on hardwiring and just using the 12v outlets for now. The front cam cost me £150 so looking for a small cam like a nextbase 112 for £50 that other people have used and can recommend- which works well peering out through the rear tinted window many thanks

Does anyone have the cat6 tracker fitted and use the app? i can’t get my trips to display but it will alert me when the car enters or leaves a defined area I place around the car (geofence I think) via the app. Ive reloaded the app 3 times and it still doesn’t show the journeys taken. I want to have it live before I drop the car off at the dealer to have some bits added - so I can see if they take it for a spin without my approval! The tracking company just keep saying delete and reload the app not much help there! cheers

I have a nextbase rearview mirror dashcam attached to the OEM mirror which is superb as you can record the whole road ahead in HD, not have any problem checking footage as it a screen within the mirror itself and it’s not in the way when looking through the windscreen. I want to use the rear 12v power outlet in the boot to connect a small dashcam which powers on when I start the car. It will be positioned in the top centre and cabled around the inner lining using Velcro tabs. Anyone using a small dashcam which is reliable and can connect to a phone using WiFi? cheers 👍

Hi As I have no spare wheel / collapsible or normal sized, what’s the best thing to do if I have a puncture? 1. Have the foam that solidifies in the tyre? 2. Pre fill the tyres with a liquid sealant like ‘ride on’? 3. A puncture repair kit where you make the hole bigger and plug it with a rubber bung? 4. R.A.C to tow me home - or 5. Get a collapsible wheel from Audi for £175 and keep it in the boot space? all suggestions from anyone would be appreciated. Cheers

Does anyone have the tech pack phone box and a plus sized iPhone - hoping they fit as I’m using IPhone 6 with the Audi charging case which is slower than a snail due to being only 1amp, this singular amp charge is like a trickle charge I can connect and charge via a USB lead but then CarPlay pops up and until decent apps are available I can be arsed with it If the iphone 8+ fits I think that will charge up faster than a phone in an Audi case which limits the charging by it’s slowness if anyone has used an iPhone 6+ 7+or 8+ In the phonebox which slides over the cup holders under the arm rest please let me know if they fit ok Cheers.

Hi All, having seen those led puddle lights on fleabay I realised I had never seen any light emenating from the underneath of my doors. I checked today and yep, there are underdoor light modules on each door but neither illuminate! I don’t have the upgraded LED package, so am unsure if the front footwells should also be illuminated and are also faulty / not programmed to be on. Question: Whats the best easiest and quickest way to check that they are meant to be on & should my footwells also be lit up when getting in and out? cheers 👍🎯

I’ve managed to dent the drivers side trim by letting go of the seatbelt too early / without caution; it then flung itself like a catapulted brick into the aluminium trim like a rocket. Both front door trims and the centre console now have dents / scratches after 3 months of ownership I think I will visit the local stealer to discuss the fragility of these trims 😫

Mine already has scratches on it. Pain in the !Removed!.
