  1. Happy Birthday businessspice! From the Audi Owners Club Team!

  2. Well, my car has 65,000 miles on it and we have had it since 07. We drive it like old dead people so we baby it to death. Problems? 1) We have a convertible and our glass rear window has nearly completely separated itself from the fabric top which shows a lot of quality. =) Very common problem amongst a lot of cabriolet owners. Most use glue, dealership says just replace the entire top for an easy $5,000 ...... no thanks. 2) if the cars sits for more than 4 days without being started and then we start it the car kinda shakes and sounds like it is going to barely start. Not a starter or dead battery kinda issue but more like a "junky manufactured engine with assorted problems" kinda issue. Not sure if others have this. Same goes for days where it is very cold. We do synthetic oil changes every 5k miles and use 93 gasoline. But we had an Audi TT before and only had issues with that too so I am thinking it is an audi thing. 3) Our black plastic skid plate thingy fell off going down the highway, nice. 4) the window switches are kinda "sticky" and gummy ..... classy. 5) the black coating they used on the switch to lower the convertible top and for the headlights has begun to chip off ..... quality. At about 45,000 miles something went bad with the car mechanically and they fixed it under warranty but it would have costed us $4,000 they said if we did not have the warranty. I forget what it was altogether. This may be the last Audi we own, after having many issues with the TT we had and now having problems with our A4 at just 65,000 miles I can't see spending AUDI money for something with so many issues. We have owned Hondas and Toyotas that go for up to 250,000 miles and run perfect! My Dad has a Toyota truck with 175,000, he bought it new. Only has had to change oil & tires. Still runs and looks like new. Same goes for my Mom's Honda. She always kept it as a backup car since ti was paid for, now 250,000 miles and never once had any problems with it! oh well.....
  3. Yello, I am the owner (should I have put proud owner?) of an old 2005 Audi A4 Cabriolet with the tiny 1.8 in it. It's actually a car that just sits in our garage since it's not a daily driver but I figured I would join here and see if there is anything cool I could maybe do to it. It is pretty much stock, and by pretty much I mean it is. It's black with tan leather, because I'm classy like that. The glass rear window has almost completely separated itself from the soft top which is classy and shows great factory quality. If we don't start it often it will shake and start very rough like which again shows great Audi quality. It only has 65,000 miles on it and we have driven it like 80 year old dead people, so we have been easy on it. I will link some pics although I am pretty sure you have seen an A4 before.
