After the fitment of my springs it's now time to think about a geometry reset.
My question.... how much of the quattro's suspension is adjustable. I.E. rear camber toe etc and also the front.
Cheers folks
There's no messages on the dash. Maybe I'm becoming a little paranoid. For instance, I had a new set of alloys delivered today to my local tyre fitters to have a new set of tyres fitted. Went up after work to get them fitted to the car and as they drove the car out I spotted they were not the alloys I had ordered. 😠 long story short, they won't take them back as they've been fitted to the car. I'm waiting for a call tomorrow to see what is going to happen.
It's one thing after another with this car. I love the car but it's starting to grind me down now. 😞
My mates 2008 needs the clutch in to start. I seem to remember when I bought the car on the test drive I had to depress the clutch to start it 😵 not sure though.
Well, just had a new vibration dampener fitted so I'm hoping I'll lose that annoying slight vibration the car had. Not too costly either, £150 for the doughnut and £85 to fit.
The old one had just started to break up.
I assume my a3 tdi quattro has a Haldex coupling, if so, do I need to do a oil change ( no sign of it being done in the service record and the car is on 83000 miles) Also, does the Haldex have a oil filter?
Cheers folks.
Can anyone tell me what the signs are if the flywheel is about to die. The clutch seems to be ok it's just a vibration every now and then under load. 4th _5th foot to the boards. The car has been remapped.
Cheers folks.
