  1. Hi Daniel. I owned a non Quattro 2.0ltr TFSI A3 with DSG. All the dash warning lights come on after turning the ignition key and then go out in a check system. So from this if one light stays on then it should be checked out as the cars system has found a problem. On from this sometimes it would take slightly longer for all the lights to go through the sequence. Note though yellow/orange lights are not as bad as red lights. The rattle I don't know about as I my car was newer age at the time I had it. One issue I found on my car was creaky rear suspension. Basically the rear suspension would creak when you got out of the car. Audi dealer mechanic said this is not an issue though and very common so no fix required. All that said that car was the best drive I've owned so far. The DSG made it so relaxing. The suspension is a dam sight better than the mk1 A3 and the seats are very comfortable. So for some piece of mind you can check out the dealer feedback on line, auto trader has dealer feedback for example. You can always make the dealer aware of the issue and your concerns too. They would surely address both issues for a sale. Sorry I can not fully answer your problems though I hope I have been of some use. Keep us informed on the outcome Adam
  2. Ahh I see now. To have a membership number you are saying a fee would be incurred. Interesting. I assumed when someone joined up the forum would automatically issue you a member number. So we are a member of a forum and not a club. For example when your in the golf club your given a membership number so to cross reference or is this wrong? Furthermore how do you know how many have joined this forum? If you know this figure then would it not be easy to give that user a member number? I'm a noob on these things as no social media and this is my first forum. Well in the end we probably don't need a number anyway.
  3. Hello i am trying to put a photo in my profile but the picture is too big so it's skipped it. Yeah I know it's a big step for me being a technophobe....What do I do to load it up? This is using my iPad. Any help would be great thanks. Regards Ad

  5. Do we have a membership number? If not it could be a good idea.
  6. Welcome Luke, real nice rare S1 you have, pocket rocket defined... thanks for sharing
  7. Hi Vince Welcome. You have a nice choice to make and I too would consider the Daytona grey in the black edition styling. Let us see when it's delivered.
  8. Hi Ryan Nice car and must be so practical being an estate 👍Great colour too anyways welcome
  9. Welcome James. Nice s-line black ed you have. Sold mine earlier this year and must say I loved it. Washed her every week without fail for 5 yrs. Best comfort ride and styling around. I'm sure your gonna be a serial Audi buyer now you have that model. Relax and enjoy.
  10. I think your car does have the feature however it works the same way as a normal key. With the normal key the interior lights come on after removing from ignition. So you must have a way of stopping the keyless link working so to prompt the light. Does your fob have a button to cancel the link?
  11. With regards to the exterior lights staying on that is a feature of the exterior light pack. As Steve said it is to help out when it's dark. I had this feature on my first A3. Not sure if it's a standard item on your motor though. My current A3 doesn't have it. On your keyless issue. As the interior lights come on when you take the key out of the lock I'm wondering if your able to manually turn the keyless link off on your fob.
  12. Hello. I have had my car for 6 months now and I really have an comfort issue. No matter what I do I can not get a comfortable seating position and have come to the conclusion that it due to the head rest being angled too far forward. said head rest can be adjusted up and down but has no tilt. The head rest seems to push your head forward and gives a rounded back. Even over a short driveing time you can feel that your back and neck does not like this. A drive back from Wales last week gave me quite a headache. These seats are from the s-line model so I was wondering if anyone else has this issue with seat comfort or has a solution. I have not asked the manufacturer about this. many thanks -ad
  13. Hi Rach. Welcome, though I'm also new here. You have an extremely nice car. I also have a new shape A3 but couldn't wait to get a black edition so it's just the s-line for meh. Those black editions are so sexy. Previous car was one and looking at them now I wish I had more patience. The Daytona grey in black edition looks the best too, you have great taste. regards Ad
  14. Thanks Steve Q, Where is this A3 8v section? Or can I just ask here? Thanks - Ad
  15. Hi guys and gals I've just joined and would like to say hello. I have had a few Audis (all A3s)and have been meaning to join a group for ages. Not sure if I've posted this in the correct place as this is the very first forum post I've made. As said I don't do technology or social media. So I would like some advice on an issue I have with my car, where do I post for this? thanks for your time 👍
