Hello, any help and advice is greatly appreciated please. My partners A3 heating completely stopped working a few weeks back. Fuses checked but display in car for heating still lights up. I have removed the glove box and removed the heater motor. The motor felt damaged, rusty and didn't spin easily whats so ever. We found a replacement at a local car parts dealership but upon receiving it. Annoyingly the original plug coming from car is a gold coloured chunky plug with four separate wires connected. The slot for the new part only has one for a much thinner plug very similar to the one disconnected from the glove box. Is there any adapter available to make this possible to utilise this new part? Hope the above makes sense and thank you for any advice in advance 😊 please see attached images of said adapters.

Hi all, I hope this is ok to ask as this is my first post. First of all, I cannot drive so have very little experience of cars apart from things my dad taught me and through ex's who drove. Unfortunately my Dad passed away suddenly last year (he was only 59), and I've ended up with his car. The car is beautiful and really well maintained, but as I'm not yet driving, and it has an engine size of 1968cc (a bit much as a beginner car), I really need to sell it. I have checked around online and the prices really seem to vary, so as Audi owners I was hoping some of you would be able to give me some advice as to a good price to sell it for. I currently have it on a SORN, and the MOT runs out in Dec. I plan on putting it through another MOT early in November to help with the sale. It shouldn't have any problems as it's hardly been driven since my Dad passed, apart from to keep the battery topped up. Also as a non driver, I don't yet have insurance on the car. When people come to test drive it, I'll obviously have it tax and tested, but do I need insurance or will the test drivers have the necessary cover? Thanks in advance 😊 -
window Audi A3 2008 8P Driver Side Window keeps clicking

Hi new to this page, I've tried searching round but can't find any page with the same problem. I have a 2008 Audi A3 8P, When I put the window up on the driver side it will go all the way up and then stop because the glass has reached the top but the switch continues to make a clicking noise until i press the button for it to go down lightly. Has anyone fixed this issue before and what was the solution? I'm not sure how the regulator works -
Hi, I am currently looking for a 2008-2010 Audi A4 Avant.... not too worried if 2.0 diesel or petrol but would prefer the S Line or Limited Edition. What are the big things i should check please? i've noticed several adverts saying they have had water pumps changed which on a fairly newish car seems a little worrying... Not worried about recalls as i can check with Audi whats outstanding when i get one more worried about anything costly that could result in even more expense if not done :/ Thanks in advance for any tips :) Cant wait to get one
