Hi everyone I am new to Audi forum. I have bought an Audi Q7 from an online auction without headlights. When I looked at the wiring, I noticed that someone had cut the wires on both sides to release the lights instead of taking the clips off. Now I am left with ten different coloured wires. The headlights use T14 connectors. I have bought the connectors, which have markings 1-14 (pins 8, 9 and 14 are blank) . Can someone help me identify what colour wires will connect to what number of pins? The wire colours on the right side are 2 x brown, white/red, yellow/red, yellow grey, yellow/blue, purple/blue, grey/brown, and grey/black. The wire colours on left are 2x brown, green/black, green/yellow, green/purple, green/grey, green/brown, black/white, Thick yellow/green, thick yellow/black. Thanks in advance

Wondering if anyone has come across this issue before.. my A4’s auto headlight icon on the MMI has disappeared and all I get now is the headlight/sidelight icon when they are on. Whereas, I used to get both auto and the lights that were on. the headlights seem to function as normal, I.e they come on when it’s dark in auto, but I feel like the high beam assist isn’t working as it normally was. any advice would be greatly appreciated! cheers

So I bought after market headlights. I couldn’t find second hand headlights and new ones cost about £1500. My head lights are bi xenon so the dipped beam and high beam is separate and it’s tucked on the side of the xenon bulb. I bought led replacement headlight unit. The high beams do not work but it’s not giving a fault code and I have figured out the whited are in different locations to the standard full xenon’s. the bi xenon one’s are rare so seams the led unit is not compatible with my one. I believe I may need to take out the cable from the connector and change its position. Do you guys know what cable is the high beam. I know what connection point it is on the led light but I don’t know what cable is meant to be changed for it to work. this was meant to be plug and play Im also getting Audi adaptive light faults please help. Hi, This is my first post here and I really need some help please! I bought an Audi Q3 Black Edition 2018 plate in the UK last year and have moved to Germany as part of my job for 2 years and German law states that I need to register the car in Germany. Part of this registration process involves having a German "MOT" and one of the items flagged up was the direction of the head lights. These need to be altered from UK left side of the road driving to EU right hand side of the road driving. I visited a local Audi dealership in Germany and they were able to mechanically re-position the lights but this brought up a dashboard error so they returned it to UK standard (they said if they left them like that it would also be a MOT failure). They also can't seem to re-programme the car to change the headlight orientation to EU roads as this function seems to be blocked by a code. They spoke to some sort of Audi Technical department and the only suggestion they had was to purchase EU lights (at a cost of 5000 Euros) and swap them with the currently installed UK lights. However, they did not recommend doing this as they could not guarantee that the car's software would agree with this different part. Has anyone ever dealt with this issue before? I find it extremely hard to believe that these lights cannot just be adjusted (mechanically or through software) and that be job done considering the age of the car. Any help or advice you could provide would be so appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, I have an Audi TT 2.0 TFSI 09 plate and wondered if any knows why my headlights are so dim. I bought pretty good bulbs to replace existing ones with but didn't make any difference at all. my next thought is to completely replace headlamp units but is there a simpler fix? if not how do i find compatible headlamps? thanks a million petrol people x katie

Hey guys, I’ve an A3 2019 and after I took it to the car dealership for the 15K service, the “right marker/daylight running light running low” error came up on the dashboard. It’s only the upper LED strip on the right side that is not turning on. Someone knows where I can get it? Thanks!

When driving with dipped headlights, which lights should be on? As I'm driving I'm noticing a bulb flash On and OFF. I think the lower lights (see picture BLUE circle) are flashing. Are these supposed to be on with dipped headlights, or are these fog lights only?

Hi all, I would like to introduce myself to all of you. I have just become a member! I have a 2000 Audi B5 1.8T Quattro Sport that was originally a UK car. I was wondering if you could advise on alternative side light options that will work. The bulb holders have become very brittle, probably because of the excessive heat coming from the bulbs. Is there a alternative solution? Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody could help me out and point me in the right direction. I’ve just received my new DRL projector headlights for my a3 sline very smart looking lights. I’ve seen a few videos on YouTube how to change them and every video seems to involve the bumper coming off. Will I be able to change without taking the bumper off as I don’t really fancy taking the whole front bumper off. Any help/advice is much appreciated.

I'm confused... (nothing new there... ) Being new to Audi, and the Q7 - there are a few Audi-isms that I don't understand... One being the high beams. When selected the dipped produce more light, but the main beams do not come on. Does anyone know why this is, is this a design function or a malfunction...?? the pics below were taken with the high beams turned on... Please advise.
