I wish I knew a fraction of what some of you guys and gals know, so just looking for opinions and comments please. Very happy with the A3, always wanted an A4 but now really think I will save my pennies for an A4/A6 Avant. What are your views on the pros and cons of the Allroad as opposed standard Avants?

Hello, has anyone upgraded their 2012-2015 A4 Allroad Tdi Quattro Halogen headlights? Was it easy, what did you install, any part numbers & where did you buy the replacement headlights you installed...Please? I have looked online and conflicting information or not detailed enough, or not sufficient detail, so I would appreciate anyone that has done it to let me know. I am looking for brighter lights and maybe a newer look but more light is key, unless anyone knows what bulbs would be better?

I don’t seem able to get my 2015 Allroad to drop to the lowest setting (one bar when in ‘Allroad’ mode), it goes down to 2 bars, then only shows ‘raise’ on the function buttons. is this a fault? Or simply ‘operator error’? Any thoughts cheers folks Dave

Hi there, I used to own a C7 saloon and got winter wheels for it (genuine audi), now sold the car and bought a C7 allroad to replace it The allroad is currently on 255/45r19 on 8.5x19 ET43 wheels and the old winter set is 7.5x18 ET37 Does anyone know if they would fit? Audi set for alload are 7x18 ET38 for the allroad, but I had hoped they would be fine... I appreciate any help Thanks

I have recently bought a nice spec 2014 A6 BiTdi Allroad, and very pleased with it except for the lower spec headlamps. It has Halogens which don't seem as good I'd have hoped. I have other (older) cars which use Xenons, and this is a step backwards. LED tails would be nice if affordable too. I see two better versions were made, Xenon and LED. Also a company offering LED conversions at £4k+ which is absurd on an older car. Are there any experts out there on possible retro fit upgrades? Or is a case of put up with it? Thanks for reading!

Hi there. I'm currently looking to sell my mercedes e350 as I need something with 4 wheel drive that can tow. I don't really want an SUV type, so am thinking that the A6 Allroad would be a really good option. That said, I'm hearing lots of horror stories on air suspension failures and monstrous repair bills. However, they mostly seem to be on older models. I'm probably looking at a 2014 or 2015 model, so my question is..... Is this age of Allroad susceptible to the same airbag problems or did Audi manage to sort it out? Any advice really would be most appreciated Thanks

Hi People, Back with first Audi in well 20 year, but is my 4th! Happy to be in an Audi A6 Allroad BiTdi, bought used and I'm the second owner. My Audi from back in the day were a stock 100 Avant , much modified Type 85 Audi 80 sport (2.0 16v from a type 89) and a lovely Oettinger 90 quattro 2.5 Hoping to enjoy being a member here. Paul

Hi, It's November and I'm on the hunt for recommendations for winter tyres for a 2017 272ps Audi A6 Allroad on 255/45 R19 Wheels. My driving is on a mix of country roads and faster A roads in Scotland. I'm looking for a good all-rounder - needs to be good in the wet especially up here! Any advice appreciated. I'm not planning to buy new rims and go down a size or two, but would be interested in hearing from anyone who has done that.

HI all I recently bought an 07 2.7tdi AllRoad and having owned several BMW's, Range Rover, Lexus, Alfa Romeo's and even a WRXSTI Subaru I can say I'm happy and very impressed with the build quality. It has the ZF 6 Speed Triptronic box and I'm planning on getting the ATF changed, I've read conflicting advice, some say a full flush is needed some advice against changing all the ATF in one go any advice there ? The gear changes are all smooth but there is a big hesitation, "flat spot" when kicking down quickly at around 1500 rpm and lower in D, I'm hoping the ATF change may help. Also I'm aware of the Gearbox ECU revision, can I find out which revision it is on through diagnostics ? Is it possible to have the revision made by a Indy or re-mapper or does it have to go to an Audi Main Dealer ? I don't have one near me but to have a VW Dealer. Also I'm getting a Stage 1 Remap done this week so may see if they can read the ECU and even do the upgrade. The car has done 129000 miles with a FSH man dealer for first half and then Indy. It will need 4 tyres in the next month or so, I'm looking Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 3's as they are cheap from Oponeo any opinions ? I will be doing about 10% on farm tracks and fields. Thanks Matt

Just bought a well loaded pre-registered 2015 A4 Allroad 2 litre TDI Quattro with the manual gearbox and well impressed. Looking forward to reading relevant threads and seeking help and advice about the car in due course. I will be looking to fit a detachable tower and electrics in due course.

Fantastic Audi Allroad Quattro TDI 2.5l 53 plate estate with leather interior. Got lots of mod cons including heated seats. More details on request. In perfect condition inside and out but got issues with turbo boosting. It is slipping gears and currently off road. Would be great to repair it but cannot afford it and have no mechanical skills. Sat on the driveway with a SORN and no insurance so could really do with selling this soon. Would be great for anyone with the skills to repair the turbo boost or for someone wanting spare parts to repair another car. Reasonable offers considered.

Hi All, I collected my Allroad Limited edition B) from Edinburgh last Friday and had a very comfortable ride back to Cornwall, I love every thing about this car but....I really would like to have an I-pod/AUX/USB fitment :(....any tips would be appreciated . As soon as the weather dries up I will post some photo's, until then...she is metallic black with all the luxury whistles and bells, quite different from anything that I have driven before...a mix of sports performance with practicality...perfect! I would like to change the wheels as they are heavily pitted and being a car 'modder' I am keen to make her unique :)
