Hi, in my Audi A4 2015 the apple carplay feature is rather inconsistent and sometimes it won't work at all. I have two ports for the apple carplay and both of them seem to be the same. It works most of the time but if it's not worked for the initial start up of the car it won't work until the next time it's started again. The phone always gets a connection as I can see it being on charge, however the apple carplay won't be working. I have tried using different cables or phones and that does not change anything. I am unaware if this could be an MMI software issue where I have to update the version of it. Anyone seen this issue before? Thank you in advance. -
Hi guys, Recently purchased an Audi A3 1.6 TDI 2013 (has the built in infotainment system) I know the car also has an MMI port, I was just wonder what the cheapest option is in regards to flashing in Apple CarPlay? Or if this is possible at all? Thanks guys -
Hey everyone! I’m excited to join the Audi squad and am collecting my used A3 S Line Black Edition 1.4 TFSI a week on Monday. As with anyone buying a car, I’m currently obsessed with any little upgrades I can make but am someone who definitely likes the factory look as opposed to aftermarket. Therefore two quick questions! Has anyone painted their brake calipers or got caliper covers? I’m getting the car in Daytona Grey and think a little bit of colour will look great but want it to look as factory as possible. Also I’m really not handy even if it is the case of just removing a wheel for covers. Finally my car is a 66 plate and is the facelift 8V but am not sure whether it comes with CarPlay or not? Hi all I have an A3 2012 Convertible and I am looking to upgrade the headunit was wondering whether to install an Apple Carplay unit has anyone done this if so was it an easy install? Are there any Pros & Cons? Any pics would be great thanks
